Miami. I've been gunning for a rerun of 6 since 6.
I think the East will win the championship again this year, I don't like Miami's chances, Indiana has improved and Brooklyn's window appears to be small so I think KG, Pierce will push the team to go all out this year.
We have Miami, Indiana, Brooklyn, Chicago and maybe New York.
I'm picking Indiana, no one will touch them IMO. George worked on his game and conditiong this off season and the fruits of his labor are showing so far. The addition of Scola is big as well as Granger when he comes back.
Indiana is my pick.

nothing is impossible in NBA but I'd still put my money on Miami if I had any money. The chance of Heat winning the East again will be 50% this year imho, with the other half shared by a number of teams including Pacers, Brooklyn, Bulls and Knicks. Knicks might be struggling right about now but they'll be fine imho, and I'll aways root for those NY teams against any team not named mavs because NY is my goddess's hometown, and I'll be rooting for Sweden on the world cup for a similar reason
Miami no question.
the real question is who will face Miami in the East Finals?
it could be Indiana, Brooklyn or Chicago IMO
I'm partial to Brooklyn, they have a better bench than Indiana and come playoff time they'll be able to match Indiana's front court.
The way I see it though, Miami-Indiana series, I'll pick Indiana. Indiana-Brooklyn meets, I'm picking Brooklyn. Miami-Brooklyn meets, I'm going with Brooklyn here. It's all about match ups.
Chicago is a second tier team, New York shouldn't be in the conversation.
And why is that?
The Griz had a small window last year. How'd that go for them?Brooklyn's window appears to be small so I think KG, Pierce will push the team to go all out this year.
lol New York. Not a snowball's chance in of winning the East.We have Miami, Indiana, Brooklyn, Chicago and maybe New York.
Very weak reasoning thus far.I'm picking Indiana, no one will touch them IMO. George worked on his game and conditiong this off season and the fruits of his labor are showing so far. The addition of Scola is big as well as Granger when he comes back.

What has Brooklyn done in 5 game to convince you they're a threat to the le? They're 2-2 and just got blasted by Orlando, a team trying to lose games.
Charlotte Bobcats
Orlando has also blasted the Clippers this evening, what does that mean? All these games in the beginning of the season don't mean much, as most teams are in the process of adjusting.
I'm counting on KG and Pierce to help the Nets come playoff time, and for most of these vets the regular season is a marathon not a sprint.
My point is just that Brooklyn is a new team and even if they play extremely well, new teams typically don't do well in the post-season. Pierce and KG are well past their primes. They have to show a lot more than 2-2 to even really merit being considered as *threats* to the Heat, and you have them *favored* to win the East in 2 out of 3 matchups.
Can't hate on you for making a bold prediction, but wow, that's out there.
Prolly Miami, but the Pacers wouldn't surprise me.
As an aside, if the Spurs come out of the West and face any team besides Miami, they'd win imo.
