Being 4-1 is pretty good considering the Spurs coast for about 40-45mins per game so far this season tbh.
Exactly my point!

Our new signings look like flops though. Ayres is junk and Belli still takes the same dumbs shots he's been taking his entire career
Friday should be a fun matchup. Hopefully, the guys show up for it effort wise. Warriors are pretty damn good IMO.
Saw Curry hurt his foot in their game tonight; Dubs may be without him Friday.
the reason for pop going with lineups tonight was cause he was trying to keep everyones min down.
Yeah, with Kawhi, he's just not letting the game come to him for 4 quarters. He's too hesitant in some spurts, then overly aggressive the next where he forces up a shot we're not accustomed to seeing him make yet. He'll be fine, though. Maybe he won't make the leap Paul George probably will this season, but we'll see.
Marco's shot selection and offensive awareness is way better than Neal's, though.
Good observation, tbh.
The new guys have been meh so far tbh. Not worried about Beli as he's still finding his role on the team but Ayres shows some of the same timidness that Tiago/Baynes do. Hope it's just a matter of him learning the system but he's underwhelmed so far even tho I'm not expecting much outta him.
Bone bruise. He's day to day but hope he plays. That dude is a baller but way too fragile. Green figured him out in the playoffs but I'm sure he's gonna counter us with something...if he can hold up.
I still don't think Belinelli is a big enough upgrade over Neal to justify the Spurs losing their financial flexibility. Neal and an MLE player would probably have been better. Hopefully, Marco proves me wrong.
Marco just knows his role and when to be called upon to hit big shots. He may not have it every night but he'll play within his skill set. He also won't be jacking up inexplicable shots with the shot clock in our favor like Neal often did. I can't emphasize enough how glad I am Neal is gone.
Virtually every FA was going out of their way to avoid signing with us. Marco was instantly interested and so PATFO took advantage of the opportunity. I'm sure they were beyond tired of Neal's chucking and terrible shot clock recognition, to go along with being the worst defender on a team that had Bonner and Blair at the time.
I think they'll regret that. The Spurs were an attractive destination for the first time in four years thanks to the Finals run and Leonard's long-term potential. I think they could have had a much larger haul than they got.
If I'm not mistaken Green made 4 layups/dunks tonight while missing none. Progress?
Stats guy, Timmy was only credited a block, he had 3 in the 1st half
Thanks for posting these!
What did Curry do exactly? How did he hurt it? Did he land on someone's foot?
What did you guys think of Plumlee? Pacers let go of some pretty good players. Didn't even know he was on their team last season.
