JaG hit the nail on the head tbh. Saying the word doesn't make you a racist, and being politically correct doesn't mean you're not a racist. It's the shallow news coverage, as well as the extremely simple minded and dumb people we have in this country that are incapable of thinking beyond, "Saying this word is racist, not saying this word isn't racist". For all the racist Donald Trump has said about how Obama is a Kenyan marxist who didn't really go to Columbia and that he'd give $1M to the "inner city charity" of Obama's choice if he provides his transcript, the only time there was ever public outrage over it was when Trump said "The blacks" instead of "The African American Community".
That being said, Incognito is still an idiot. There are people you can make racial jokes with and people you can't. I used to work with a black guy at an old job and we'd regularly say, "Don't get hung on a tree while I'm on break" or "Don't die in an oven while you're gone" type too each other but it's not like we made those jokes the second we started working together. The black people at my current job I don't know that well and I wouldn't dare say something like that to because they seem like the type that even get offended when another black person says the word.
I disagree. Half of it is the racist stuff and the other half is the "bully" stuff. There's a new trend going on in the media right now to go after "bullies." Every time I turn on the tv there's a new special report about some bully in the workplace or a bully at school or a bully on the bus. There's a big nationwide crackdown right now on bullies.
This is the kind of we're preoccupied with right now in society. Bullies.

The stories of bullies on the school bus are always hilarious. With all the outrage over bullying that takes place on school buses, none of it is directed at the school districts that hire bus drivers who are 5 IQ points away from being Terry Shiavo and never give them training as to how they should handle bullying, even though there's a "bullying epidemic" on school buses.
I'm curious as to who the racist posters are going to defend now: the got oreo, or the "honorary black" white bully.
Also, apparently Martin's got-ass played the voicemails for several teammates and they all laughed about 'em. So yeah, his bs story is getting muddier by the day.

Martin was expected to play left tackle beside Incognito at guard from the start, so Incognito took him under his wing. They were close friends by all apperances. Martin had a tendency to tank when things would get difficult in practice

He was the jokester on the team, and he joked with everybody from players to coaches. That voicemail he sent came from a place of humor, but where he really screwed up was using the N-word. That, I cannot condone, and it’s probably the biggest reason he’s not with the team right now. Odd thing is, I’ve heard Incognito call Martin the same thing to his face in meetings and all Martin did was laugh.

Local sports radio down here has done a complete 180 within just a couple days...they're almost all Team Incognito now that more and more information is coming out.

According to some teammates, apparently Martin himself shared and passed around that voicemail to everyone else, treating it as a joke. This whole thing is so freaking bizarre.

If Incognito threatened to kill and rape Martin, as alleged in some news reports, he should be suspended by the team even without the hazing and racial overtones. You kind of cross a line when you leave a voicemail for a co-worker threatening to kill and rape them; it's borderline criminal behavior in some states.
Looking more and more like it. Or maybe, like most of his teammates are saying, he's just a ing weird ass guy. His ing nickname on the team is the "Big Weirdo" or some .
On a sidenote, lol @ people not defending him anymore. Don't get me wrong, Igcognito is a , but he's not a racist; and Martin is looking more and more crazy.
I do that to a handful of posters here everyday
He's supposedly had that nickname since college...just an awkward kid.
