still wants to get traded to Brooklyn.
Their jobs are to do what they do, because that's what they were hired for. Anyone who hired Howard thinking he would improve his FT shooting is a ing idiot.
You mean this?

It's a tossup between Coward, Demonkey, and Serge on who is most useless and the biggest liability at the end of games.
To be honest, it's like Dwight is running away from his baby mommas and child support payments.
So when an opposing player catches and fouls him, it's as if he just got served papers to show up in court.
Dwight if this is true, putting the blame on Lin. It's obviously Dwight and Beverly's fault in that last play for not switching, not Lin. If this news is true, then this just confirmed the type of player Howard is: a whiny and definitely, a beta.
Coward. Houston is ed if their championship aspiration depends on that guy.
Warriors would be a better fit (post Harden) because of the shooters and pace they play. he would get big numbers (rebounds blocks and dunks), and he would be playing with high level Ft shooters and another elite defender. Which would allow him to make a more consistent effort on defense. plus he would cover up Lee's atrocious defense.
The fact that THIS Laker team ... where the bench, comprised of cast-offs can outplay the starters consistently ...can beat two of the west supposed best teams ...tells you how subpar the NBA is. And as much as I like Indy ...if no one (hibbert) steps up to support George ... heat will 3 peat. If you had to bet your life-savings how could you bet on ANYONe else?
I think I would take the field because maybe Brooklyn or Chicago can wear them down and Indy finish them off ... but right now It's a heat 3peat and they are not playing that well tbh ... Lebron in COAST mode.
I am going out on a limb here and say that the Heat will not 3peat. The toil of the last three seasons will catch up to them, and the Heat STILL has a glaring weakness in their game, it's a matter of time before an elite team get enough shots at the Heat and dethrone them, be it Pacers, Bulls, or Spurs.
I said the same. But I just have not been impressed with any contender outside of Indy. I will admit i only have seen the spurs twice and once was without Timmy. But My lack of faith inbthe contenders is why I said what I did ... not because Heat look unbeatable. In fact it is disturbing that the heat are ripe for teh taken, but there isnt anyone to TAKE IT from them.
Bulls look battered from too many minutes and physical play. Rose is still trying to get back to form. Deng is alwys hurt now Noah s too. And boozer is a known choker. His scoring will NOT last ...
Timmy has already missed a game and the Spurs will probably coast at times.
OKC got back Westbrook but Ibaka took a step back.
Brooklyn has a rookie coach and players that could care less until playoffs.
Clips and Rox have flawed bigs around dynamic flopping superstar perimeter (stars) who the HEAT have already proven they can neutralize.
Again, Hibbert has to make a leap for me to be 100% sold on Indy ...
So ho does that leave? Lebron. flanked by a healthy (for now) Wade.
so based on a short sample size only the Pacers are playing significantly better than the Heat. sure chuck is an idiot but it's the other teams that have to prove they can win ..not the heat who have won the past two and have made the finals 3 years runnin'
No doubt so far not too many teams have looked overly impressive, but we are only 5 games in, so there is plenty of time for teams to fine tune.
Bulls are expected to take some time to get back into form, you don't just insert a franchise type player like Rose after an 18 month absence and expect the team to make the finals. Not all players are as versatile and great as the 2008 MVPau.
Timmy's absence was a one game thing because it's early in the season, it wouldn't have happened if it was the playoffs. The bigger question mark is how well could Manu bounce back from last final's atrocity (or does he have anything to bounce back from).
OKC , after the departure of Harden, is pretty much done. Will be a great regular season team, but the lack of offensive structure will kill them in the playoffs.
Brooklyn is a pretender, KG and Pierce are up there in age, the other players are more names than great.
Clips have issues in the inside that will be exploited in the playoffs.
Rox have huge issues to work out, as their defense is just embarrassing, especially the perimeter.
Three legit franchise faces join up and they dominate the league? Add a 4th in Ray Allen and how can you expect anything less? They made the Finals in their first year together. It's what uberteams do. The fact that anyone else can even hang with them at all is surprising, and tells me that some of the guys just coast (wade).
By contrast, the Lakers pick up Howard and Nash, so they had Artest, Nash, Howard, Gasol and Kobe and barely made the playoffs, and got swept when they did. That's why everyone took a huge steamy wet on the Lakers, because they were expected to at least make a showing with that roster.

ing James Worthy
wish that s was still playin
I don't see this argument. Last year was the year for the Heat to go down, with Wade looking so horrible physically and with the Spurs having a cakewalk to the Finals so that they were fully rested and healthy going into the series. Miami may have had that killer regular season, but that means when Wade's looking like a TOSB. If we see the same Wade again next playoffs, then yeah, it wouldn't be surprising to see them go down to Indiana who is perfectly constructed to beat them. But otherwise I don't see it. Brooklyn is too old. OKC and Chicago match up horribly against them, and while the Spurs match up well, absolutely everything went right for them health and matchup wise on the way to the Finals, which is a lot to ask again. Plus Danny Green will never shoot like that again. I'd be really surprised to see anyone take them out this season.
Closest thing I've seen is 6-24 in game 7.
"He was always really determined to be more of an offensive player," Bryant said. "Here in Houston he will have more of an opportunity to do that. He always wanted to compete with some of the all-time greats, the [Wilt] Chamberlains, the [Shaquille O'Neals], the Olajuwons. This should be a year where he should be putting up those kind of numbers, 25, 26 points per game."
