A win for team Agloco
A win for team Agloco
And this is why there will be hangings after the revolution
not to worry, the FDA says GMOs are "functionally equivalent" to conventionally grown crops.
which is why you NEVER want to believe solely anything from captured-regulator FDA on anything
The usual 1% demons.
The No on 522 campaign set a record for fundraising, bringing in $22 million in donations according to The Seattle Times. Just $550 came from Washington residents, according to the newspaper. The top five contributors were the Grocery Manufacturers Association, Monsanto, DuPont Pioneer, Dow AgroSciences and Bayer CropScience.
Worried about GMO's when crops eaten for leaves are watered with salmonella ridden water.
Alrighty then...
there's lots of ups in USA's corporate food system, and its supportive regulators and judges.
A Repug judge ruled salmonella on your chicken, aka HAZMAT, cannot be stopped by govt because the chicken is OK if you cook it enough. ing Repug judges go to .

GM rice could prevent a huge amount of suffering in other countries. There is the possibility a lot of good could come from this. A bit disappointing that some people will throw the baby out with the bath water.
But the topic was labeling, the bathwater, carry on...
All GM is to capture agriculture. GM seeds have to be purchased every year. GM seeds are meant to be drenched with expensive corporate x-icides. GM is ing nightmare
And the EPA says CO2 is a pollutant.
Government agencies are contaminated by political clout and agendas.
Yep.
I would like to see labeling, but I agree that those who do grow without GMO are free to proudly label their products as such. I would pay more for a product that makes such a claim. Afterall, they could be sued for advertisement/mislabeling if it wasn't true.
CO2 BECOMES a pollutant in excess, like the Bs of tons human activity has been and is producing these past 150 years of industrial energy based on carbon fuels.
Where do you draw that line at?
I say someplace around 1% or 2%.
Do you know how insulin is produced for diabetics?
insulin isn't food, who knows whether safflower insulin will be truly safe.
Do you why so many Americans are diabetic or pre-diabetic?
Because the Hispanic population has a predisposition and eats crappy food. And because highly refined sugar( corn syrup) is eaten by many Americans.
So to make medicine is out, but food ok. Even though food goes through a much more rigorous processing during digestion, and GM insulin is injected directly into circulation.
Does this make sense Boutons, with your random proclamation?
so your argument that GMOs are OK is the fact that insulin diabetics use is genetically modified?
Monsanto shill
If GMOs are OK, then Monsanto and the rest of the agriculture industrial complex would have no issue with labeling them, right? Why would they be pouring millions of dollars into stopping initiatives that would force them to label GMOs if GMOs are harmless?
No I am not. I am saying there is some GM food that has the possibility of making quite a few peoples lives much better.
Please read about GM rice. It's a complex but interesting story. NPR did quite a good job on the whole ordeal. You might try reading about it.
If you would read Boutons proclamation that anything produced by GM is bad, you would not have posted.
So then if GMOs are such a good thing why is Monsanto paying millions to ensure they don't have to label them? If GMOs are good Monsanto would be going out of its way to be labeling GMOs, right?
