Where did I say what he did was a negative ? A+ doesn't mean he did what you can expect, A+ means played well above expectations. You are saying it in your first sentence he did what we would expect so that's not a A+
I also ended that sentence with "...and more." Read the whole thing buddy.

4-10 from the line and losing Douglas 4 different times for wide open 3s was my reasoning there. The game wouldn't have been nearly as close had Tony decided to show up and take over earlier in the game. Better late than never I guess

Tony was the Spurs second-best player last night. Deal with it.

Manu was awful, yet you gave him a B.

    It's clear that you're just a Manu .

Sadly isn't that what most of us expect from Manu? I'm just curious but were you only watching the Spurs when they had the ball? There's also a portion of the game where the other team has the ball and attempts to score. Manu went HAM on D, and his 3s were at least all wide open looks that are bound to start falling sooner than later. lol @ the hostility to game grades. No wonder timvp stopped doing this
No, we don't expect Manu to shoot sub-30% from the floor and, if you do, you are ridiculous. Even in Manu's shotty season last year, he shot 40%+ from the floor, so learn some.

I know that those imbeciles that belong to the Moron Brigade use it (TheGreatYacht, Skull-1,Axegrinder, etc.). I just couldn't help it.

Let's just say he's a member of the CoM.

ElNono must be smiling somewhere, he is good for an easy season what we all expect from Manu this year is a ratio assist to of 1 and 30% shooting...

It's hard for Manu to fail with these high expectations, tbh.

PlayNando casting stones.....if anything, he should be taking notes. After the rubbish he posted, its pretty refreshing to read an intelligent basketball take from someone who actually watched the game.

Tim had a bad night in lots of ways. Passive looking and slow to react. Not fighting for his spot and ending up taking shots from places that are beyond his comfort level. Not willing to fight on offense or on defense.

Splitter had a Splitter night, so I was willing to accept what he gave. Manu had what has become a Manu night for him.

Tony started the night well and finished it well. In the second quarter Pop left the subs in for way too long without any of our big three or even Kawhi out there. No one runs the offense well when both Tony and Manu are on the bench. The whole team just looked lost. Then Pop put Tony in, but still didn't add any of the other starters with him for about another two minutes and you could just see that Tony was distrustful of giving the ball to any of his teammates. And he was RIGHT! Not one of them could stay in the offense or hit a shot, so he tried doing it himself with everyone on the Warrior team teeing off on Parker. It was stupid beyond belief.

Similarly, in the fourth Pop stayed too long with the sub team.

When that happens, it takes so much MORE energy for Parker to bring the team back to the game that he does get exhausted. The free throw shooting has got to improve from everybody, but especially from Tim and Manu and Tony, because they spend so much time with the ball in their hands, and it is only those three guys that the refs respect enough to call fouls for. Even at that Tony was getting creamed and not getting fouls called enough.

Who was Tony to get the ball to last night that was gonna help the team except for Kawhi? Tony and Kawhi were shooting between 55-75% on the night, but everyone else was shooting 20 to 30%... except of course for Diaw, who was fun to watch.

Tony basically winning the game for us by making clutch shots when no one else was and then missing free throws means he only gets a C? The same grade as the the best power forward of all time who shot 30% and had didn't rebound? Really? Who do you think was the MVP for the Spurs last night? What do you imagine the score would have been if Tony hadn't made all the clutch shots he made in the fourth?

I don't mind you posting grades if you don't mind people disagreeing with you on some of the grades. I'm not asking you to change your grades and I'm not trying to get into an argument.

These are my opinions of what I saw last night and my opinions of what your take was on what you saw last night. That's all.

See Brazil? This is how you contribute to a forum. I'm not looking for people to agree or anything, but if they don't I prefer that they make a discussion of it so everyone can participate. Instead of just talking . This fourm has gone to over the last few years and is 80% people being pricks and 20% basketball discussion

figured it out. system uses grades for energy efficiency. Diaw was A+, if he had also 6 rebounds, it's A++, a 20 and 10 game is A+++. so an A+ is a bit lame.
