Uggh. The governor. The "next time on the Walking Dead" scene with the governor trying to look like a badass in front of the burning house made me laugh uncontrollably. This was a good episode, though. Best of the season so far.
Agree with all you said. I'm pretty pissed Rick dumped Carol from the group. I hope she isn't gone for too long.

The governor from the comic books is a bad ass...the ultimate ing repulsive monster. I know AMC cant show rape and all that stuff but seriously this version is so watered down. I hope he is finally the psychopath that he is from the comics. Things that need to happen in that show ASAP
1) Get the out of the prison already
2) Final showdown with the governor
3) Find a new setting and ESTABLISH before the ing season ends, new characters, new enemies
4) A nice cliff hanger season finale
I swear to ing dog if they end the season with just a showdown with the governor and one of the characters like the gook die Um done with this show
Sigh. People just don't understand TV. It's a season with two halves of 8 episodes each. They're not going to resolve a lot of before the break, and there WILL be a cliffhanger.
If the gov was there the whole time then what was Michonne tracking?
I didn't read the comics, but the governor on the show is probably the worst character they have IMO.
He's not particularly a good actor, he's not scary like they want him to be, his story has been boring, and I think he's going to play a central role moving forward.
I absolutely loved this show thru two seasons but it's starting to drag so bad now. Last episode was pretty good but the way it ended leaves me pessimistic about the shows direction.
I also liked how the Doctor talked about the point of no return for the illness and glen is the seen dying in front of everyone...but some pills from the Vet school miraculously save him.

off. Ive been watching this show religiously since episode 1. The writing has been HORRIBLE since the first half of season 3.
The Governor's reappearance wasn't as exciting as I woulda imagined

He was awesomely ruthless last season IMO, i enjoyed him.
Calling it now, Michonne gouges out the governor's good eye and he ends up in the woods running blindly from the hordes.
Not thrilled by the return of the Governor. A rather boring and cardboard villain, methinks.

I had no idea so many people hated the Governor. Didn't get that tone from this thread last season. Unless I just forgot.
Weird thing is, I didn't hate him or like him. I know he was supposed to be a huge character but he didn't add much IMO. I thought the nerdy cronie had more depth. lol
I thought his transformation from arguably a legitimate pragmatic leader to ruthless psychopath was cool. He rushed the prison and with bullets flying right near him didn't even flinch.
Not a comic reader so I know this isn't from the canon, but I thought that transformation was cool.
I was liking the dim apocalyptic tone of this season, kinda like the vibe from the movie The Road.

lol y'all are hilarious. I agree about the gov. I would be ok if he gets killed next episode. Please don't drag it out all season. How much of threat can he be? I hope the writers will take in to account a lot of viewers feel this way
