He said he would tell her "prove it!"

parents, please don't take CC's advice. if your kids are approached by a stranger tell them to avoid the stranger and do not speak to them or allow them to follow you home. secondly, fathers. if you have a daughter and she makes an outcry of sexual abuse, please don't tell her "prove it". its very insensitive and shallow and is victim blaming at its finest. it may prevent your child from speaking out on any abuse in the future in fear that you won't believe her or she'll get blamed.
