Still not sold on Parker as a true Cornerstone player in the League, but he's such a great college player. Bigger stronger Sean Elliott.
I wish I could've been in that courtroom when rhythmic slapping was brought up.

Parker ting on wiggins
Parker AND Randle have both taken a wet on Wiggins tonight, tbh![]()
Parker has a nice all-around game. Only problem I've seen is some questionable shot selection
Parker's got a bit of chucker in him, but I think he can tone it down. Not too impressed with Wiggins tho; he seems to have a bit of that Durant beta-ness in him.
Wiggins has been more efficient and hasn't been chucking like Parker, tbh. I don't see how Parker has "taken a " on Wiggins so far. I think Randle could be the best player in the next year's draft, 6'9 and 250 pounds? Already has the perfect NBA body for his size and he has mad skills and great rebounding ability, Wiggins might seem a bit disappointing due to all the hype, but as a player he has a lot of potential.
Anyways, Wiggins hasn't gotten as many touches as Parker but he's been more efficient, can't really hate on his game so far.
Wiggins picked it up a bit as the game went on, Parker was ting on him earlier though![]()
Wiggins closed out the game, but Parker impressed me with his offense. Wiggins has a bit to learn still.
It's about how you finish, and Wiggins has taken this game over.
I think it was 17-6 in favor of Parker at the half.
Very true, and it's refreshing to see. That's the dominant question. Not can he, but will he.
Well, he defended the crap out of Parker and has 16 points in the second half.
Wiggins with 22 and 10 on 9-15 shooting, good 2nd half and won the game down the stretch. Not bad, imo.
Meanwhile, very quietly and without ceremony, all #4 prospect in 2013, Aaron Gordon of Arizona, has done thus far is average 13.5 PPG, 10 RPG, 2 APG, 2 SPG, 2.5 BPG with two double doubles in two games thus far.
If he was featured like Randle, he would easily put up 18-22 per night.
But he's sharing frontcourt time with a PF that's averaging 15-7 and a C who's averaging 10-6.
Kansas has a good team and deserved to win
Still, I was more impressed with Parker than Wiggins. Shot selection was an issue, but I like Jabari more on the defensive end. He really gets those long arms into the passing lanes. Think he had 3 steals and a block along with his pts/rebs
Ellis was the best player for Kansas imho, but Wiggins sat a lot in the first with foul trouble which hurt his numbers (and probably helped Parker's)
Kansas (and, to a lesser extent, Duke) looked much more polished than UK or MSU did. I think that's because the latter two teams are so solid defensively, tbh
Best player of the night, overall, was Randle. Only way he's not going to go 20/12 every time is if he doesn't play or has one of those rare awful shooting games. It won't be because of anybody's defense, that's for sure
Can't wait to see these players/teams in a couple months when they've ironed their game out. Could be an epic year for CBB
Neither team has a PG or C worth a damn. That'll be an issue at some point.
No you weren't.
I work with Scout.com, and moderate boards with both Scout and Rivals, and Randle was almost a lock to UK for over a year before his early commit.
Top recruits from Texas don't go to NCState. You weren't even in his top-5.
Aaron Gordon, Arizona Wildcats
MVP, McDonald's All-American Game
MVP, FIBA Under-19 Mens' Tournament
15 PPG, 10 RPG, 1.5 APG, 1.5 SPG, 2.5 BPG

He belongs.
Parker reminds me of Glenn Big Dog Robinson. Very similar game.
Thank heavens this will be the last year for Barnes, maybe we can get a real coach.
