As much as I disliked the 2000s Mavs (can't really dislike them now that Josh Howard and Jason Terry are elsewhere) Dirk always deserves props tbh. 2000s was the golden age of the PF IMO (as opposed to the 90s which was a golden age for centers). Dirk, Duncan, and KG all hit their prime around the same time period.
Props to big German when it comes to clutch shooters, not all around scorers like MJ or Kobe, primarily pure shooters ..its Bird, Reggie ray then Dirk in my book. Not saying those guys weren't able to score in other ways but I would pay money to watch them loft clutch jumpers over defenders. Dirk has long been one if my favorite non Lakers
So what. It took him almost 200 more games Logo played. Also, Logo didn't have the 3-point shot.
so what? timmy played more games than dirk but is only 22nd.
great accomplishment. hope he cracks the top 10 one day.
It took Dirk just 4 games to sweep the Lakers!
My favorite player of all time tbhwill be sad to see the retire but I'm glad he got his ring
That 2011 finals run...great in champion![]()
Motherf#$kin' Hasselhoff should drop an homage to Dirk! I would say one of, if not the top, international player to ever lace 'em up in the NBA. Glad he got his 'chip and those years with Nash were must-see basketball.
Props to Dirk tbh, probably the best international player in NBA history. He really changed the game, he forced 4, and 5s, to play different kinds of defenses due to his great ability to shoot. He was really the first jump shooting 7 footer, and he mastered the craft tbh.
my Dirk
