ty state of the NBA allows for such record breaking streaks. The NBA is in such a state that a good euro team could easily have a 10 game winning streak playing the likes of Knicks, Raptors, Lakers, etc.
Indiana is currently 8-0.
Next games:
9)MIL
10)CHI
11)NYK
12)BOS
13)PHI
14)MIN
15)CHA
16)WAS
It looks like CHI and MIN will have to stop IND. Still with 3 more wins they will be in the Top 10 season start ever.

they'll probably drop that Chi and Wiz game.
The most obvious red flag there is on the road for the second night of a B2B against the Bulls. They host Philly in a similar fashion too. Either one could be problematic in that situation. Minny's another team with a few talented pieces that can be tough to beat if they're all on at the same time. I don't think they'll set the record.
Well, they are 0&46. So.....
They have already broken Phoenix's record.
No they won't. But color me impressed with their start. They have impressive wins vs. Brooklyn on the road and vs. chicago. I think they are legit threats to the 3peat ... If Hibbert can stay out of foul trouble and dominate the paint vs. Miami.
Also like Spo, Vogel has to learn from his first dose of playoff failure ... he was shaky last season after a solid regular season imho ... Pop might of won that ECF tbh ...
Bulls, Rox, Clips are pretenders without major trades you can cross off all 3 from le convo ... Miami beats all 3 relatively easy.

How is that possible when both are active records?
they're only halfway to breaking the record it seems like
they are able to contend for the record cause their main core players can play big minutes, and a solid bench down to player 8....where 3 benchwarmers should be starters...
Pacers are setting the tone early and they don't care who they're going up against, they bring their A game and win every game possible. They're hungry.
Pacers are without a doubt on a mission after last years loss to Miami.
Nice try, but after a preseason of watching Euro-teams getting stomped by the NBA I call BS.
I have to disagree. You cannot use the pre-season exhibition games as some kind of barometer. The euro teams not only travel halfway accross the globe and I'm not even sure what kind of rules they use.
I'm talking about transplanting a very good Euro team to a US city and have them play there for a season. IMO this team could win a mul ude of games in a row. Or are you saying such Euro team would be 0-82?
my point is, back in the 80s, 90s or even 00s, a good euro team would have zero chance of winning more than 2 or 3 straight NBA games. Today, with such ty compe ion, I'm sure they can win 7,8,9 or even 10 in a row just because the large amount of teams we have.
most of this blame goes to commissioner Stern and the product he has developed. It's embarrassing.
