MJ had 3 straight games of 5 TOs in the Finals against Portland. He also had a monster 7 TO game, shooting 36% in game 6 against the Knicks that year, a game that they lost and allowed a game 7. Big whoop. They still won. Just like Miami.

I don't disagree that there is momentum that plays into things. But that's what separates championships teams from non championship teams. The Heat could have curled into a ball and gave up after Parker traveled and hit that miracle shot to win game 1 and take HCA away from Miami, but instead they came out and dominated the next game, and eventually won the series.

game 7s are game 7s. quit making excuses. SA simply lost to a superior opponent.
sigh, he's bringing up 1 mere playoff game by Jordan when I'm talking about Finals.

I am not denying SA lost to a superior opponent. yes, Heat > Spurs. But Spurs also choked when leading by 6 with 30 seconds to go facts are facts. Also another fact is that Lebron had 6 turnovers in that game and was close to being humiliated like Ginobili

Also dead eye shooter Ray Allen made and appearance and that combined with Ginobili's 8 turnovers was the difference in that game 6. but you may remain in fantasy land if it makes you feel better.

If Lebron doesn't make the switch to guarding Tony and forcing him to have one of the worst games of his career, Spurs win easily, tbh..

I didn't think it was possible for prime TP to be shut down by anybody, especially with how confident he was all series after dominating Chalmers and Cole, I can't get over that, tbh..

Tony was playing with a bad hamstring which limited his movement. I guess a heat fan will say anything to make Lebron look good.

Miami fan parading around as Spurs fan trolling hard, tbfh.
What gave it away? His screen name? "HarlemHeat37"

He will do anything to prop up his idol. Even at the expense of his favorite team: Spurs.

Spurs let role players take the central stage against the Heat which was the main reason they lost imho. You can't win ships by role players, with the 11' mavs being probably the only exception in the modern era.

No, the reason the Spurs lost was their best player went down with a hamstring injury and tried to play through it. If Lebron went down, I wonder how many Heat fans would be putting an asterisk by the Spurs le.

Dude is a bandwagon fan if I've ever seen one. Started off a Spurs fan when they were winning, After 2010, thought they were finished and jumped all over the Heat bandwagon. Still humpin Lebron's junk, tbh. Would you believe he's also a Bronco fan. I know a front runner when I see one, tbh.

nobody is going to think back to the 2013 NBA finals and think "oh man, that was the time lebron dominated the spurs"

LeBron scored plenty in game 7, but much like the closeout of the 2012 finals where Mike Miller gets recognized, people will recognize Battier in game 7. lebron did hit the dagger shots, so i'll surely give him that. still Harlem, everybody here outside of no life got know that LeBron is the best player in the game today. there's no need to unnecessarily slurp him off for his finals performance, which is nothing to slurp about. his best stretch probably game in the 4th of game 6, and even then, he choked like crazy in the last couple of minutes of that one.

i don't know if it's the biggest chokejob though. we were the underdogs going into it, and we all knew it was going to be a dog fight. I guess we just didn't expect Manu to be as bad as he was. It's amazing we made it as close as we did when our secondary ball handler was playing like he was at the Buenos Aries YMCA. The East being better, the Heat being on their 4th championship run, and Spurs bringing in Marco to cover up Manu at times does give me some hope.
Manu played more or less like he had played all season, as he said: "so-so", tbh. The one I didn't expect to suck as he did was Tony, tbrh, fwiw, imho.

upstairs will use the excuse spurs playing with house money as they are RS contenders and playoff making up the numbers, in other words they be happy with whatever result with a aging duncan...i dont buy that excuse with the results of this team last 3 seasons...

Actually I brought up 3 consecutive Finals games, along with another atrocious playoff game.

Also dead eye shooter Ray Allen made and appearance and that combined with Ginobili's 8 turnovers was the difference in that game 6. but you may remain in fantasy land if it makes you feel better.
So the only difference was those turnovers by Ginobili, and Ray's 3? None of the other 51 minutes worth of basketball that took place through the game? Okay.

How badly Lebron beat us in game 7 last year, tbh..

Sometimes you just have to accept when a player has a legacy defining game, but I'll never get over how badly he destroyed us in the biggest game of the season, along with shutting down Tony, tbh..maybe one day we can get over it, but man, it's hard to think about it..
This is not constructive. Shut your whiny little piehole tbh and appreciate the present.

Sorry I misprinted the name, John Paxson. Game 6 of the 1993 nba finals that forced a game seven. There were 3.9 seconds left on the clock when it went in.

pretty sure, the bulls were not in danger of losing that series, matter of fact they were leading 3-2.

I could be wrong but I don't think MJ ever got bailed out from losing a playoff series by a dead eye shooter in the waning seconds, much less an NBA Finals.

people always bring up kerr and paxson's shots, not realizing bulls were ahead in those series, clearly not in the same situation as the heat who pretty much were declared losers after LeBron missed the game tying three.

    truth bomb

Lebron's "dominance" on the league cannot even begin to be compared to MJ's dominance on HIS league.

It was MJ's league and we happenend to be living in it, today, it's a league and Lebron happens to be the best player on it

who in 8 series of "dominance" has had to play maybe 2 quality opponents
