Seriously.
Meh...a couple of them were contested, and the first was a mistimed jump. Only number 4 was unforgivable. The rest were cir stantial.
Seriously.
You know that your sig isn't from The Great Gatsby, right?
Oh sorry. So if we remove "mistimed jump" + the times when:
- he didn't jump high enough
- there were players within 5ft when he attempted the dunk
- the ball hit the rim
- he threw it down with too much force
- he had a glare in his eyes
- the ball wouldn't cooperate
then I guess he didn't miss any dunks.
My sincere apologies for believing he did.
Dammit Obstructed, you made me forget what the damn thread was about...
Hazing. Try joining a national championship winning level team and you'd get spanked too.
The sarcastic apology is unnecessary. For starters, all the superfluous garbage is not germane to the point. I've seen lots of players blow uncontested dunks/layups/etc. I've seen even more get turned back by decent defense, and hundreds of badly timed jumps. My opinion hasn't changed: too much is being made of "four missed dunks." It's not like the guy had four clear dunk attempts and blew them all, and it's not like we haven't seen plenty of good players have the same thing happen to them.
If I've learnt anything about Ayres over the last couple games, it's that he's more than capable of dunking with no defender infront of him. Throw in some defense, and it's not pretty.
Yes, I am aware
