Who is more poisonous: Dwight Howard or Kobe Bryant?
Can't blame Dwight for this one. The Rockets gave Asik money no one else would at the time. He pouted the minute he would be the backup and went public with a trade twice. While he is a better defendw r, he has worse post moves than Dwight and still can't finish around the rim. I like Asik but I think he think he is more talented than he really is.

To be fair Dwight took Magic back to to the Finals after shaq left. They did get some assets for him. He kinda screwed teh Lakers (though im glad we did not pay him 5 years at the max) and too early to say he screwed Rox.

Im all for watching Dwight fail but be fair. He was a success at Orlando until the end ...

Lin didn't about coming off the bench. Asik did from the very beginning, though I think good coaching could manage that.

The night before in Philly, he was a statue on defense and offense. Basically pulling a Dwight, not giving any effort.

Amir Johnson to the Rockets would be a great fit, tbh..very good pick&roll player, mobile defender, good shot-blocker, has range up to the 3-point line..

It's not about who starts. It's about who's playing at the end.

Asik was never worth the money, Rockets were stupid to over pay him. If Ibaka made that lay up, Rockets would have been swept. Mind you, Asik is lucky Ibaka didn't because that idiot couldn't even grab a rebound even though he was RIGHT THERE.

Asik is a 7 footer. 7 footers get paid and yes he was worth the money.

tbh, the dude takes about 4-5 seconds to release a jumpshoot. I wouldn't consider his 3-point range or jumpshot for that matter an asset.

He's worth every penny the gave him. Problem is, they never had a plan to begin with..They saw they had a chance with dwight so decided to go for it even though in reality, that was far from their plan as evident with paying Asik that much money

Asik is no starting material on any team not named the Heat

He could go as a backup to a high to midrange team like Dallas or Golden state imo or to a rebuilding team (but then he already command too much $)

Yeah but Asik didn't even give it a chance when he first asked for a trade. The day Dwight signed. Problem is McHale stubbornly started them together for about the first 8 games.

According to cyberx on ClutchFans, Dwight is pushing for the Asik-for-Anderson trade.... considering Dwight has also demanded Monta Ellis and Gilbert Arenas in the past, Morey probably shouldn't listen to him

Cyberx is definitely credible and works for an agent I think. He does have L.A ties though so somethings might be coming different sources. Dwight would be for an Anderson trade, but I'm sure Morey will make his own trade.
