They'll drag it out at least until the midseason hiatus. I've lost count, but we should only be a few episodes away from there.

Emo got reminds me of certain member here who cries when he doesnt get attention
Seriously though the Governor in the comics and Andrea were ing mutilated by these show writers. I guarantee you 90% of the re s on this board could have done more with character development on those two than the show writers. It was really not that hard to make the Governor bad ass....how the they turned him into this emo pussy is beyond me. I blame Obamacare for all this

Sad part is it used to be all awesome until Darabont left
Well I'd settle for him being dealt with by then. Need to move on from him.
Darabont only worked on season one, which was really only a half season. We're now well into season four. Why are you still watching? I'm serious. Why would you watch a show for 2 1/2 seasons that you clearly don't like? Is it like some hipster thing so you can continue to dump on it?
Crazy. I swear I don't remember this many people hating on him last season. What did he do in the comics that he comes up short with last season? I get how he should be dead, I agree he should have been taken care of at last season's climax. But what did he do last season that made him so emo and ? Was it the zombie daughter?
The scene with him and Michonne fighting was one of the best of the series for me
I don't think anyone did; he was just ok last season. He did get a bit tiresome there at the end, what with the "let's talk about a truce that's not going to happen" schtick, his "I can hit people 400 yards out with one eye on the first shot but then miss everything else after", and the "hm. I should kill all the people who I recruited to be in mah army" bull .
I was hoping he was done after that last ep, move on to the next gag so to speak. But no. He's back, he's burning down empty houses, and he's by himself. They better not turn him into some kind of one man commando team, being able to outsmart everyone. He may be "evil" but he's not that smart imo.
If it goes the comic route, he is gonna have a huge role in what happens to the prison. If all goes to plan....don't read further if you don't want anything spoiled.
He will go to the prison with someone captive. The captive (either Daryl or Tyresse) will be decapitated in front of everyone while the Governor proceeds to murder nearly everyone leaving only Carl, Rick, Judith and one other person. This would be the mid season finale. They will then go on the run, running into Abraham and leading into DC to conclude the season half. Again, if it goes the comic book route which it is looking like it.
There's 3 episodes to the mid season finale. If they go that route and drag that out for THREE ING EPISODES, then I'll be officially done with this show.
I'm staying positive. I think tonight is an epic episode.
The Guv is going to kill the entire family and take the little girl that looks like Penny. I'm guessing and have not read the comics.
Tbh I hope the governor gets some from that bout to be widow before he takes the little girl captive.
I can't tell if this was a good episode because of the plot or because it didn't have any of the usual annoying characters. Either way, good idea to move away from the prison gang. This show has desperately needed something like that.
I liked it. A move from the prison scene. I'm thinking in the next episode big things are going to happen where we'll end up somehow with the governor getting to the prison. That'll cap off this mid-season, imo.
Interesting. I wasn't expecting that from the governor. Are we supposed to start sympathizing with governor?
Oh and was that not carols voice at the beginning of the episode. Talking with the governor?
first episode i've watched in a few weeks, pretty decent.
This episode kinda made you feel a little sorry for The Governor. I really hope he kills the balding mexicano in the next episode.
can we just focus on this arc, its better than the prison drama tbh, that tomb raider looking chick was a refreshment.
A lot less emo whiny in this episode than when it's at the prison with Glenn and his emo . I was surprised with The Governor. I really thought he was going to destroy that family that gave him shelter. I was just waiting for him to make his move and kill all of them except the little girl. He's a softie when it comes to kids.
with the way this bipolar show moves along, who knows.
I enjoyed the ep. Probably because what everyone else said...none of the whiny es from the prison were there. No Carl, no stupid asian guy, etc.
Dunno why he burned Mayberry. That place would've been a nice place to have as a last resort. Then again, he was still in got mode when that went down. Anyways, I'm not sure if this ep is trying to show that he got his humanity back and will be a good guy next ep? Or if he's still just using people and wants to have a 3 way with the sisters and do that for a few months? The latter sounds quite interesting imo.
The song during the montage was pretty bad, but I would like to see more zombie dodging
I don't know, it was alright. Guess I can't complain about an episode featuring Snake Plissken.
