I'd try and pry Horford away from Atlanta.

Atlanta trading Millsap for Asik is possible in a deal, I'd be shocked if they even considered Horford, tbh..

Amir Johnson and filler for Asik would be a solid move for the Rockets, tbh, Amir is underrated and would fit well with Houston's style..I'm guessing the Raptors will attempt to acquire Lin, though..

    Asik/Lin for Amir/Lowry/Fields?..

Perfect fit for Houston, although he would require more than just Asik imo.

If the Rockets would trade Asik to the Spurs for Bonner, I'd personally find filler to make it work tbh.
    Bonner/De Colo/Baynes works for Asik

    Do it RC

Horford makes too much money and the Rockets don't have the assets for him. Although I agree with you. Perfect fit.

Nah, the Rockets aren't trading Lin, unless they get a superstar pack in a deal that Lin is packaged in.

    Rockets are getting Ersan imo

How about Dalembert + Crowder for Asik? Dalembert would be a decent backup for DH and wouldn't complain about being a backup, Crowder is a solid performer on both ends of the floor and would be a significant upgrade over the likes of Garcia and Delfino imho. Asik is a badass defensive C with abilities in grabbing rebounds and blocking shots, and he's much more consistent than Dalembert. Asik and Dirk would complement each other very well in the paint just like TC and Dirk in 11', if dude ended up joining us, and they would probably give us the whitest starting big man combo of the league (knowing that Kaman and Pau don't start together)

Man if the Rockets can get Ersan, they'd be legit.

    - Ok defense
    - Great Rebounder
    - Can stretch the floor

I don't even know why that is wasting his talent in Milwaukee

Before Saturday night’s game against Denver at Toyota Center, Rockets center Omer Asik was nowhere to be found.

He was in the building but unavailable to play.

He didn’t attend the shootaround that morning.

When coach Kevin McHale was asked about Asik’s status, he said, “O will not play tonight.”

    Pause.

“He did not (attend the shootaround). He is under the weather.”

This comes just two days after reports that Asik has requested a trade from the Rockets. He has started eight games this season. But in the last two, he played a total of four minutes.

    ‘Do whatever we can’

Before the trade request, McHale had started to waver from his experimental lineup featuring Asik and center Dwight Howard, who was moved to the four position.

The experiment hasn’t worked as planned for the Rockets.

“The lineup with me and (Asik) sometimes is great,” Howard said. “Sometimes it is better to have a smaller lineup with a conventional five and four. But there are times when he and I can be very successful, and we are going to do whatever we can while we are on the floor and try to make it work.”

McHale and general manager Daryl Morey have talked to Asik to try to make him understand the situation, a person with knowledge of the conversations said.

Despite anything the Rockets do from here on out they're still the same franchise of the last decade, tbh..they're not going to do much in the playoffs when it matters most because their team is lead by mental midgets..nobody should put stock in anything Houston does..they're irrelevant, tbh..

Can't blame Dwight for Asik. Refusing to suit up goes beyond Dwightmare.

They need a stretch four. However no one would be pushing for anything right now if Asik would just do his job.
