i preordered back in june. got it friday morning from ups. i'm going to be honest with u, it's not that much better than the ps3. for starters, u can't play mp3, mp4, avi, or any media on it yet. i guess they will fix that soon. there is no remote control released for it yet, so i got to use the controller for everything running the battery down. and there aren't that many games released just yet. i bought this battlefield game cuz i already have 2k14 on ps3 and i have no idea how to play this game. i haven't played a role playing game since legend of zelda in 1989. i may have just wasted my cash. hopefully there will be upgrades, but the system is fast and netflix moves a lot faster on ps4 than it does on ps3 and u can toggle between the game and netflix without having to close the application out. if u buy it, order it from amazon and save $28(7% sales tax in my states. it's probably more in yours). besides, i don't like standing in line for anything.

nah i'm sure it plays blurays. i haven't watched any on it yet, but i'm positive it does. i read it doesn't support 3d bluray, but that will probably be fixed.

^^^Yup, I would wait until sometime next year to pick one up. Let them fix some of the bugs. They're also predicting that this generation systems will get price drops sooner than past gen consoles.

trust me, it's a great system, but not worth $800. spursfan1000, how is 2k14 better on ps4? what extra do they have on the new system? i don't care about graphics.. game play is what's important the most.
