Last year Sean Payton was suspended and the Saints had the worst defense in the history of the NFL. It wasn't really that big of an accomplishment to beat them last year. Despite that, I haven't been talking about the Panthers. They are quite cabable of beating us if we don't play well. I'm thinking that the teams will split the home and away. Where is the game? Charlotte? Hmmm...that defense is playing well. I'm guessing the parallel will be between a sure-fire hall of famer QB vs a top rated D take 2. It's on the marquee spot of the week so that will favor Brady and Co. However, Cam and the Panthas have an opportunity to build on the momentum of beating the 49ers last week. I still think Ron Rivera will some how up one of these upcoming weeks and it wouldn't be all that much of a surprise if he did so this weekend. This will probably be a low scoring affair.
On a side note, is Double Trouble the best ever 1-2 tandom in NFL history?
With New England having Denver next week, Carolina will get New England's best shot.
