I think its cool. Had lots of snakes as a pet as a kid. He's right. They don't need to eat often. Except for the Rodeo Road Trip he won't need anyone to take care of Jade.
That said Danny needs someone to take care of his lawn. Lots of dead patches in the grass.

Danny has a pretty modest house over in Presidio Heights off of NW Military and 1604. The Dominion probably doesn't allow Boa's.
