This show is pretty unique for today's style of TV, tbh, they don't make shows of this nature anymore..sounds like it could be our generation's version of Cosby Show, tbh..can't wait until it airs, I've been waiting for a new TV show to start watching..Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade has sold a sitcom to Fox based on his life as an NBA star and single father to two boys.
The show, which is currently in development, will be called "Three the Hard Way". It will feature a character named Daryl Wade, who is an NBA superstar responsible for raising his two sons as a single parent.
The show is described as Wade and "his entourage of eccentric friends, find themselves parenting by committee, when he gets full custody of his two young sons. It's a recipe made for disaster, but no matter how misinformed, misguided, or unfit Team Wade may be, they have a trump card that can't lose. It's called love."
The plot closely follows Wade's life and is based on the book he released last year called "A Father First." Wade has had sole custody of his two sons, Zaire and Zion, since 2010.
"Who's going to play me? I haven't figured that out yet, but I'm sure it's going to be somebody handsome," Wade said. "I just want somebody who's good. ...
"I will be involved, very involved ... to the point where it has enough of what I would like to see from my story. Obviously it's a comedy, but there will be some things you want to let loose."
It's also pretty crazy that Miami has taken the extent of their coasting this far, where the 2nd best shot-creator on the team is developing a show instead of thinking about basketball..

It's a family show about fatherhood, tbh..

Fox is starving for ratings, tbh. This has all the makings to be a flat out bust. I doubt it lives to see a full season's worth of episodes.

Combination of mega-betas makes an ultimate alpha, son. Same as such with that badass deadly three point shooting supporting cast.

Or BOUNCE TV. Nobodies gonna watch this . Wade' a washed up has been and his life story aint all that. This stink has flop written all over it.
BET has standards. Logo or Esquire Network might be interested.
The show is based on Three's book, A Father First, a New York Times Best Selling book, tbh, so clearly there's plenty of interest in his story..
curious if there will be scenes with the mother going ape on the streets, Wade banging es while the nanny takes care of the kids, juicing up, sticking a Biogenesis labeled needle into Lebron's ass etc....
