He's trolling tbh.
Do you know the difference between long dry spell and virgin?![]()
He's trolling tbh.
2 techs in back to back games. He's not only struggling but he's getting frustrated.
He is averaging 7.1 rpg a game in 28 mpg
In the 11-12 season he averaged 9 rpg in 28 mpg
His 3-13 performance dropped his career low shooting percentage from 39.4 % to 34.5 % he's 39-113 from the field.
Its certainly concerning. At 37 a big drop in production should be expected for any player but Duncan isn't just any player though.
Yes, I think the Big Three will easily win at least 74 of the remaining 153 games left in their era. And if playoff wins count, they may shatter it by 50 games. If they remain healthy, they'll get it.
You have no idea how bad it's going to get around here once Timmy retires. Enjoy him while you still can.
LOL I thought you meant the win record in a season and breaking the Bulls record which you know Pop doesn't care about. Sorry I misunderstood.
Indeed. I should have been more clear. The Big Three are only 74 more wins from the all-time record by a trio. Also, Pop should get to 1000 wins if he stays next season. Even if next year is just a farewell tour, we as fans will have a lot to look forward to.
DAMN RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!
None of us is ready for that. Will be dark times. Even if we somehow continue to win, it'll be amid boring hero ball. Tony is the best scoring point in the league by far, but watching him dominate is not anywhere near as fun as watching Tim is.
Isn't blue the universal sarcasm font?
No, he's not. Duncan's career average total rebound percentage is around 18.5%. Last year, for example, he was at 19.1%(third best in his career). This year he's at 14%...a career low by a considerable margin. Very, very concerning. His On/Off numbers are also not looking too good(check out Bruno's thread)
Obviously, the OP's a re . TD's a legend and should stick around as long as he likes but let's not pretend he's as good as he was last year.
You can never tell in here. Some are serious with that crap they say.It will take a miracle for him to be as good as last year. That was truly special.
Yup. Most people don't understand how hard it is to have a season like TD did last year at his age. Kareem and Malone are the only other 37 year olds to have played as well as TD did at that age. It's a rarity.
The only thing that would be sweeter is if that ended in game 6 with him having 32-17 and winning MVP of the finals and retiring. That would have been perfect, BUT unfortunately it is not a perfect world![]()
I think playoff wins count so they could obtain the all time trio record this season by winning the le and winning 58 games. I remember the commentators bringing it up during the playoffs last season and acting like playoff wins count.
Tim is moving well. If his J was falling no one would be saying anything. He had 9 rebounds tonight. He's fine. He's obviously in decline but that's not news, and no one was under the delusion that he was going to be as good this year as he was last. The last four games he's played in he's averaging 9 rebounds.
blue font![]()
STFU! Tim can play as long as he wants. Some sucker named apalisoc_9 on a message board is not going to tell him when to retire.
Not even going to bother adding anything else.
Timmy has looked very poor - no touch around the basket, flat jumpers, hasn't been the force on D he was last year. In fact, it looks like his body has regressed a bit given that he can hardly jump, and that could be putting his decision-making off too.
We could be witnessing the physical and psychic hangover from a horrible 2013 for him: Game 6 and Game 7 (which would have broken a lesser man), and his divorce on top of that. The guy is HUMAN after all, which some of those around here forget is true of ALL OF OUR PLAYERS... Tony, Manu, Kawhi, Boris, Tiago, Patty, etc. - not a robot among them!![]()
Still, we're only about 1/8 of the way through the season, so there's plenty of time for him to find his game again. Let's all hope he does.![]()
Well, I've always felt that Parker/Ginobili were overrated by Spurs fans and the 2013 Finals proved it. Manu had one of the all-time worst Finals performances in game 6 and Parker lived up to his reputation as a playoff choke-artist in game 7. Disappointing that Duncan didn't have a Gasol-level sidekick to step up and help him like Kirby had in game 7 against the Celts. , Gasol carried Kobe that game too. Then again, if Duncan had Phil Jackson coaching him SA never would have lost game 6 in the first place.
Artest came up huge in that game 7 do not forget that, without him they do not win.
Manu the bald needs to retire, tbh
While acknowledging it is hard to repeat the elite-level play last season, I'm confident that Tim will improve as the season goes on.
