We're all en led to ty takes, I forgive you.
I'm telling you I don't know if we get past them. For Manu's playoff suckitude, he was actually pretty decent in that series, including a crucial game winner.
We just didn't have a plan B if Manu wasn't there. The dropoff to, say, Neal/Patty/Nando was much, much bigger.
We're all en led to ty takes, I forgive you.
That's fine. Pop does this every season. He goes with what he has, and he will not change it. Good enough for 4 les. Some people will tell you we should have 6+ or whatever, that's fine. That's their opinion.
2010 finals-Kobe went 6-24 won game 7 and still gets ted on for that.
2013 Finals- Parker goes 6-23 and than 3-12 but gets NONE of the blame.
You're a homer bro. "spurs in 7" proved it. Maybe its YOU who hasn't gotten over 6. But don't worry brah time heals all.![]()
that's a pretty stupid take imo
in Kobe's 6-24 game, which teamate of his had 8 passes to the opponent?
not even Jordan can win a Finals game if his teammate has 8 TOs
son be honest, I know you said you didn't want us to win because you didn't want everyone happy on here, but you must not have been totally for Miami.
Pretty much. I respect the outta Pop and Duncan and normally would've been happy to see them win. 5 years on this forum changed my mind, though.
Aww Bullsh-t. Any of those guys including TMac woulda passed the ball to the right guys at least. Manu was terrible and Pop shoulda benched his sorry butt if for no other reason than to wake him up.
PlayNan is the master of the crappy take, per par.
I will never ever forget that game. I rewatched it about 15 times, since game 2 of 2012 WCF I never rewatched any games. I just can't believe what happened. I was at a house party, the game started at 4 in the morning (Hungary is a bit far from you, guys), everyone passed out, I watched the game, drunk as and obviously having good feelings about the game. The whole game was all about Spurs. Timmy with the hottest start I've ever seen from him, we were a team supposed to win it all. During the third quarter, I was screaming all around the place, I felt we just can't lose this, we are too good and experinced to lose a 10 point lead. After Miami came back I was literally crying but then Parker made that three. The whole place exploded, I woke up nearly everybody. When Miami took that TO with 28.2 left, I texted my girlfriend, that we won, Timmy will get his fifth, Leonard is the Finals MVP and I am the happiest person in the whole world. Even after the first Bron three I thought we can't lose this, but when I saw Ray elavating I knew it is over, game 7 won't save us.

nowhere, since it wasn't a collapse. simply miami made crazy shots, it's not like we were losing the ball or anything.
That game showed why the Spurs, as great as they are, aren't in the same category as the Showtime Lakers or Russell-era Celtics.
Seriously, we're talking about one of the most important games in franchise history. One of thosa "coulda woulda shoulda" moments. One of the hardest losses than many of us, as fans, have ever taken.
This is a Spurs discussion message board. We discuss the Spurs. Given the magnitude and recency of the 2013 Finals, how can you possibly expect people to not talk about it? We'll be talking about it for decades.
The season has started and we're still talking about this?
lol TMac savior baloney
I still kind of wish he would have got a ring tbh
He woulda' passed the ball to Spurs and not Heaters.
not only that, but he had about 30 thru 3 quarters and u take him out the game because "he's playing too good". i don't give a fuk what anyone says, something aint right about that . Bubba Smith until the day he died gave interviews and believed his own coach and qb threw the 1969 superbowl. Maybe someone will write a book about it 20 years from now, but i'm gonna stick by my opinion and say something foul was going on cuz popovich, as great as he is, did 4 of the dumbest things that i know for a fact even AAU coaches would never do.watching the game, it felt as if he was basically helping miami come back. i know my opinnion means cuz it's just that, it's my opinion, but great coaches don't make 3 and 4 crucial mistakes in closeout championship game. 1 maybe, 4, no fukin way.. so til the day i die, i will ALWAYS believe ginobli and popovich were involved in a conspiracy to lose this finals. miami fans feel the same way about 2011. there is no way dallas should have won that series. lebron can't score on jason terry or deshaun stevnson in a game 6?? get the fuk outta here. as much as ginobli has declined, even he is not that garbage to have the same turnover every time. drive the baseline, jump and throw the ball away. it was as if he was purposely doing it. everyone saw it and knew what to expect in game 7.

That was on Pop to. He has his regular rotation but this could've been the clincher in the ing finals. He shouldn't have left the bench out there as long as he did to start the 4th.
Totally agree and Pop sucking off lebron and wade proves it. Hopefully they promised we win this season.
Pop bench Tim GODuncan.![]()
