He has had a major impact of both sides of the ball. And is certainly a big reason why we are tied for the best rec in the association.
I like all of those player quite a bit but other than maybe Bogut (they generally have the same skill set, save Bogut blocks shots and boards better) I'd still take Splitter. Gasol hasn't consistently played Center for some time except for the 10 games this season.

Good to see people posting FACTS that support TIAGO. You fkn haters can GTFO with your piss poor RACIST and NATIONALIST opinions.
Nothing original here, per par. ^^^. Just steals movie lines, per par. ^^^ Lame azz Internet tough guy moron, per par. ^^^
Tired, lame shtick, per par. ^^^^
I almost laughed when you said that Splitter was less injury prone that Nene. Per 36 numbers are worthless for Tiago, since he can't play that many minutes. He'll get an owwie or a hangnail and miss a week.
I agree that rate stats are overrated (though not worthless. I prefer WS over WS/48.
Splitter is not the 5th best player in the NBA this year.
Splitter is only the 28th best player in the NBA this year.
26) Jeremy Lin
27) Klyle Lowery
28) Tiago Splitter
29) Jordan Hill
30) Serge Ibaka
32) Kawhi Leonard
34) Tony Parker
62) Boris Diaw
63) Danny Green
69) DeJuan Blair
95) Marco Belinelli
99) Manu Ginobili
106) Patty Mills
145) Tim Duncan
213) Jeff Ayres
234) Gary Neal
247) Matt Bonner
257) Nando de Colo
323) Cory Joseph
398) Aron Baynes
System player who cant even post a point guard and can't spread the floor either, he doesn't have big impact on offense lol at the Tiago lovers going crazy in this thread...
I watched every game Nene played during the 05-06 season. He played the season opener and preceded to miss the next 87 games due to injury. He is one of the more injury prone bigs around. He's appeared in 654 games over his 1st 10 seasons, missing on average about 17 games a year. In total he's missed 166 games. Splitter on the other hand missed 29 games in 3 seasons. Some of which were coaches decision (during his rookie year).
Splitter is playing 9 minutes fewer per game. How exactly am I supposed to compare them head to head without per 36 minutes? He can and has played more minutes last season he averaged 27 mpg during the 58 games he started last season.
Says the guy who thinks Sanders is better....
"TIAGO MAKES WICKED PCIKS"
Bump.
You see what happens when Pop frees Tiago.......
Splitter was the bomb tonight against Memphis.
When the pace of the game is slow, He is a beast in the post.
hope Pop lets him work on that pick and pop game
I know he has it but Pop will bench him the second he attempts it
with Tims decline in shooting the Spurs really depend on the midrange from the big to free up the offense
vs a team like Golden State they pretty much depended soley on it to win games
Splitter looked like HOF bigman tonight
Has a better jumper than Tim atm.
he's a very good player.. I don't care if our players are recognized over the media, I actually prefer for them to go unnoticed.. 10-1 and nobody on the Open Court show picked us to win the West.. I love it this way.. keep making fun of Tiago, Scraeming A Smith
SAS SMITH STEPHEN ASS SMITH I could care less about...... The record is what I care about like you said. GO SPURS! 9 in a row! Keep it going damnit. Oh yeah aren't we 11-1??
much appreciation for Tiago ...he could have played more minutes but perhaps Pop already thought about the b2b
Stephen A Smith
He is nationalist against foreign players, anyways, tbh. Maybe racist, too.
