Way to take a pay cut to help bring home another le... will be the highest paid player in the NBA and take up around 40% of the Lakers' cap space.

The lakers are paying more this season for Kobe than the spurs are paying this season for Parker, Duncan, and Manu combined.
Kobe even without an achilles makes the Lakers more money than Parker, Duncan and Manu ever could.
