The correct way to say it is to relive history, not relieve history.

And in response to this thread, I think we have all relived game 6 enough and want to move on and enjoy the great 12-1 start to the season.
    DAMN RIGHT!

Is it sad that I watch this until 28 seconds, then act like the rest never happened?

I just admire the defense Spurs played at the end. And those Parker shots Would have been the best game in Spurs history had we won IMO
yep, then pop started to throw the game. he did everything he could so the heat could come back. benching duncan(twice) and putting in a 61% freethrow shooter to finish the game. fuk what anyone says, if that aint throwing the game, then what is it?

OMG. Why post this? Wow that hurts. This was the first time I have watched this since the night it happened. This just makes it that much harder to believe we lost. I learned to accept it as history, this just makes you sit there and say how is this possible, how was it possible? It's unreal. It was in over, we had it.

I rewatched it for the first time last week, and I can confirm these feels.

It hurts. The only way to redeem themselves is time win this year, and even then it'll be people saying "they could have repeated"

forget 911 and JFK. I want a Comission setup by US Congress to investigate the cir stances and events of the night of game 6 of the NBA Finals.

    - why did Pop sit Ducan down twice?
    - why did Manu pass the ball to Lebron and Wade 8 times (2 times in waning seconds)
    - what was in Mike Miller's shoe?
    - why did Duncan miss the easy layup?
    - why did Parker go 1 vs. 5 in the last play of game 6 regulation??
    - did Ray Allen really make the game-tying 3ptr? or was there a second shooter?

I also want to see Ginobili's and Popovich's bank statements and all personal banking transactions from the State of Florida into the State of Texas.

Watching this I literally get anxiety, I hold my breath, then realize I need to breath. It's a bad feeling. When it happened, I believe that was the angriest my wife has ever seen me. I am usually a pretty level headed dude. I knew it was slipping away, and when it slipped away, I knew the Finals belonged to the Heat. It is so much worse because I firmly believe we were the better team. We led the whole series, should have won in 6 and let it slip away. If we were beat soundly that series it would have been a bummer, but one could admit the better team won, this was and is just horrible. I really hope the Spurs find redemption this season.

Cd021 assures us--through "advanced stats"--this didn't hurt the team. You can take it off your list. *eyeroll*

i just can't watch it. when i see us up by 5 with 28 seconds to go, there is still a part of me that celebrates thinking we are gonna win it. still to this day. i have watched no highlights or seen any of game 7 since it happened.

Same here. I don't think I will for a long long long time.

Hope to God a 2014 championship can ease the pain

I would rather enjoy the 13 - 1 start to this season for the spurs instead of watching a replay of them pissing away the finals last year.

no it was no "THEM", it was a "he" and his name starts with a "g". it was hs decisions that fuked the game up. having the worst lineups possible in the game at every crucial point.

Had it? We were only up by 5 with 28 seconds left against the #1 team in the NBA on their court. 28 seconds is a ing eternity in the NBA. Victory was NOT guaranteed, not even close. It is what it is.

Even if we repeat, the Kobe s will just trot out the threepeat, so it...we all know the Spurs have been the best in pro sports over the last 15 years...let's just enjoy this dynasty while it's still here.

I am siding toward the notion that the Spurs were the better team. Re-watching the series, it's obvious who the better team was collectively. Sometimes the better team doesn't win, tbh. Miami had the best player by far who willed his team when they looked out of it in the third quarter. Game 6 is just one for the history books. In no way, even if we're to ring this year, will I ever forget that . It doesn't happen often...especially on the big stage, when one team has the game all but won.
