Most people don't celebrate it. They eat, watch TV, have drinks and pass out. Koreans can do that as well as anyone.
It's celebrated more in the east coast though. I don't know about the South, but the west doesn't care as much tbh.
Here in western Canada we don't give two s about it, but we'll take the day off.
