But pics have been taken of you from past GTGs and posted here. It didn't bother you then.
Why all of a sudden now?
Do you really hate these two guys so much that you take what they say so seriously?
Nobody believes those pics they posted are of you, unless they are totally dense headed.
It is not that I don't respect your feelings, because I do.
It is because I honestly think you are making too big a deal about it.
You know I have defended you in the past against them, it is on record, even though you didn't need anyone to defend you, so I am not taking sides here.
I am just trying to put a little rationalism into this.
Again as intelligent as you are, the realism of it all is that "it really does not matter" when taken in comparison with the real world.
I don't condone them posting stupid ridiculous pics of someone on here. I think they are being extremely juvenile, just as grade school as some other posters do on here.
There are all kinds of idiots posting on here, trying to act like authorities on subjects, posting ridiculous notions like Aryan racial BS, posting all sorts of sexual innuendos, and bashing s, etc. every second put down is some stupid insult.
But none of it is real. None of it would happen in real life.
If it did, they would be killed or go to jail.
This site allows this emotional release in a purely harmless manner, unless people take it too seriously.

Some on here are concerned about it at the upcoming GTG and have told me they will come if no pics are taken.
I don't understand the reluctance but everyone have their reasons, just like you do.
Funny how people that don't want their pictures taken at a gtg all have Facebook accounts.
I have a Facebook account, but I rarely if ever go there because I hundreds of friends there, most of whom I don't even know.
I wouldn't care if someone photo shopped my pic on here because all I would have to do is say it wasn't me.
Even if they persisted, all I would ever have to do after that is post my real pic, if I even took it seriously enough to give a , and that would be the end of that.

And there have been plenty of people who went to GTGs and didn't want pics of themselves posted.
It's a simple matter of privacy and respect and not a big deal.
Well, this GTG will have no pics taken of anyone except those particular people who do not mind, like me.
I could care less if they take pics of me. It'll just ruin their camera.

Chump is right no one should have to have their photo taken if they don't want it to be taken. Over the years i have been accoused of doing just that when in fact I have rarely had anyone ask me to not take their picture or been asked to remove a photo from a posting I made.
There has been a few times where I saw a photo someone posted at SR or ST where they told me I had no right to Photoshop it, I disagreed telling them they don't own the www and if you put a photo on the www its out there, personally if the person ask me in a civil way I have no problem removing a photo but to just boss me around was not something I felt i should have to endure.
Keep in mind this was back in 1999 when many people still didn't get the www. I remember one time I saw a photo at SpursReport and wasn't sure it I Photoshopped it or just re-posted it here at SpursTalk any way it ignited a message board war that still today some people have not forgotten about it. If you do your research and go back you will see I was always disrespected first and by the time others saw the drama they just figured I started it.
Go back as far as you can and show me where I ever disrespected DMC,Spurs Dynasty ,TLongII,Blake,WildCobra,Woo Bon,RandomLie, and others..they would always throw the first punch. Example I would post something and they would say "your a ing idiot" and I am supposed to just sit there and agree? no I pulled out the smack bat on their crusty ass's and the rest is history.
I also had a problem with johnsmith and koriwhat over time but they have yet to attack me in the last two years so I figured some people just get it, where as others don't.

I would respect someone's feeling and never allow pics to be taken of someone at a GTG that I had a part in organizing if they requested me not to.
People have rights even if it is only common decency.
Now with that said..........some people renege after they sober up. I have been to gtgs where the person not only wants their photo taken they do something embarrassing that they don't want others to see. Also some people go years w/o saying anything about having their photo online or in a gtg topic until it gets Photoshopped.
To be honest having your picture Photoshopped is a complement that anyone would take time from their lives to dedicated to only you.

So do you approve or disapprove of cyberstalking someone through a photobucket account and posting what the stalker thinks are pictures of that person?
Isn't that harmless fun? In this case I would approve.
I know, you probably feel I am evading the question.
My answer I disapprove if I were asked before hand that it was a condition of attending a function, or if it were not a part of harmless banter such as in trolling that would not hurt anyone. If the intention is to maliciously hurt someone as some trolling becomes, then I definitely disapprove.
There has to be respect for another's wishes, but this site and most on it could care less about someone's wishes and respect.
