No, a friend of mine had one in Germany. He told me how easy it was for the thing to lose control on corners if you took your foot off the gas. I had a '77 Firebird then.

I was maybe 1/2 mile behind a fast older Carrera on the autobahn doing my normal approximate 130 MPH. He was doing about the same. There is a bridge that crosses a valley on my normal path to and from work. There was a strong wind through the valley that day, and he just about lost it as he crossed the bridge. At first I let off the gas, then... I didn't care. I was expecting the wind, and second, I had a lot of weight on him. I felt a pretty good nudge for that speed, but never felt close to losing control.
