Shut up got
Most coaches opt to not foul. You foul, you risk 3 FTs. You foul properly, they sink 2, they foul you, you miss 1, now they have a chance to win the game
Barely any team ever uses that strategy. You just stop the clock and extend the game for the other team which is exactly what they want. There was way too much time left to do that, plus it's always risky.
You are beyond pointless, Kobyz.
You are a waste of cyber-space. You are a waste of everyone's time.
For once- bring something, anything of any substance. Or just be quiet and lurk.
What a waste...
Why haven't you killed yourself yet?
Tim Duncan hit a game winner and the spurs are 15-3. Quit complaining and enjoy it.
We won. GTFO.
Pop did take Timmy out of the game, though... Reminded me of 6.
Pop has atleast been consistent with switching all screens during defensive possessions when up by 3. It would be our luck that in the one time he does choose to foul, we lose because of it.
i never understood the foul/free throw shootout mentality. all you are doing is extending the game, which favors the team trying to come back. i think its easier to win a free throw contest than to make a ridiculous hail mary 3 pointer
Pop wanted Leonard to get up on his man to deny the 3 completely. Leonard's man was supposed to blow by him (while time runs off the clock) and maybe score 2 points, at which point we play the free throw game again and put the game away. Pop knew what he was doing. Leonard didn't execute properly.
Pop doesn't intentionally foul in those cases, but he will intentionally leave the rim wide open for 2 points in lieu of protecting the 3 point line. Leonard just goofed up (and Pop was screaming at him for the mistake immediately after).
Seriously if you watch the video Pop damn near had a heart attack screaming at Leonard to get up closer, but Leonard didn't see him I guess.
Lets not forget him taking Tim Duncan out for defensive purposes again so he could switch screens
this guy will never learn
Better yet everybody put him on "ignore" and let the silence speak for itself.
At least Pop's consistent in that he never learns or changes.
