Iceless weather is the reason I live here.
I was looking forward to taking the day off if it iced up. Damn you Saytown.............
So pissed I spelled Damned wrong in the le.![]()
Iceless weather is the reason I live here.
Well, I dont want it all the time. Once a season is good though. I would love to have one day locked in doors with a fire and homemade soup.
And you can only do that if there's ice outside?
Its just kinda cool to be on lock down not out of choice. Day off from work too.
Awesome. I hate when we get winter precipitation, since the air between the clouds and the ground is almost never freezing so that we get garbage sleet instead of awesome snow.
I would love an inclement weather day off but with Christmas right around the corner I could use the money.
It's like 50 degs out here in SoCal and its in' cold...Not used to this cold weather...
try living in negative degree weather all winter, tbh..
Lol poor s I got the day off with pay and a couple hours yesterday also
McDonalds stepped up their benefits package I see.
Any job that doesn't pay their employees for bad weather days is McDonald's tier. I think you should have put today to better used by job hunting instead if posting on Spurstalk IMHO.
fkn pussies can't handle real weather.![]()

it comes so rarely that it doesn't make sense from a cost benefit analysis to prepare for it you idiot
umadbro? Enjoy your ice storm, Mr. Dallas, TX. Hope you don't lose power, tbh!
How many bad weather days do you expect to have a year in a city like San Antonio? It's not like it snows here. It makes sense as to why it's not included, it's not common enough to be important. Holidays are paid, that's what matters.
But thanks for your concern.
lol that post doesn't even make sense, the fact that it rarely happens is more reason not to screw over their employees by cheaping out and just go ahead and pay them![]()
the first time i heard saytown was when i was confronted by a bunch of hardcore gangsters from jourdanton. the looked like a bunch hillbillies but talked like hardcore gangsters. needless to say i am still here so they werent that hardcore.
i'm a tropical brotha but i must admit, i do look forward to the cold weather. not only for the highway closures but mainly because i get to throw on fly sweaters and cardigans. something about the cold weather takes my swag and fashion sense to the next level. all i need to make my winter complete is a pair of desert boots.
Paid time off is also a benefit awarded to full time associates at what I assume is 100% of companies.
Stick to being the subject matter expert on foreskins and aryans.
san antonio aka, cowntdown city.
yes, close to 100% of reputable companies pay their workers for inclement weather days and no it's not part of your awarded paid time off like vacation, personal days, etc. you work for a ty company dude![]()
Lol inclement weather. Enjoy your day sitting in the dark.
