Why don't men like to wear scarves?

Because they serve NO purpose. Gloves however are essential if it's cold enough, especially if your car is always outside and you have to go somewhere early in the morning (I shiver just thinking about it)

When I think of scarves, I think of ascots. I hate both, especially ascots. And all men know that you shouldn't wear an ascot, it's worse than scarves, but both are still pretty bad. I'm not into accessories. And I have large collars on coats that serve the same purpose so it's useless.

That's like saying gel in your hair or a nice watch is useless. We all dress for the opposite sex (or, I guess if you are gay the same sex) so it's about what you like and what you think others you are trying to attract like (plus, functionality).

Just like anything else, depends on where you shop and what it's made out of. Cashmere can be expensive.

i might cop a couple scarves this year. it doesn't get too cold down here to really need one but i'll wear it just to compliment my coat or to accessorize. oh and i love to wear gloves.
