doormats as predicted
can only beat SEC bottom feeders as predicted
has a transcendent QB at the helm and still can't beat anyone good
Yeah, this year felt strikingly similar to entirely too many other disappointing ones, but, y'know, exponentially worse.![]()
Definitely a disappointing year but I think everyone saw it coming after the first few weeks. Our defense was just awful and only saw minor improvement throughout the year. Can't seriously contend in any league without a defense.
Meh, our defense sucked, and Manziel's hand has apparently been fractured or something since Ole Miss. We have the 3rd or 4th ranked class in the nation, our defense will actually have some skill players next year (and our 10-12 true freshman players will be bigger/more experienced). I'm not really worried, we'll see how they do next year.
And I'm very, very glad we made the move to the SEC. Those who still think it was a long-term bad move, feel free to post in this thread so it can be bumped in a few years. You'll look like even bigger fools than you did a year ago.
You and Sisk sure didn't act like you saw it coming.
The season was lost when we lost to Bama. I didn't think we'd lose to Auburn but I also didn't see them having a shot at the National Championship. I never expected to win the LSU game once I saw our defense from the beginning. As for Mizzou, I also didn't see them being a National Championship le contender ( Don't think anyone saw that out of Mizzou or Auburn) Both are great teams though with a much better defense.
The Rice game was a dead giveaway.
it was a bad move.
Why is it a bad move?
They gave up natural state rivals, made the path to a national championship that much harder on themselves and I have yet to be convinced that they will make a significant amount more money in the SEC than in the big 12.
Plus the LHN, which caused Aggy to throw a fit and leave in the first place, has been a complete flop, tbh....
All the other schools have signed their own tier three deals to boot.
Not LHN money, but a few big 12 schools aren't that far off.
I know this is aAggy thread, but that's really irrelevant
College football ratings: LINK
Interested in seeing the ratings next season when/if Manziel is gone. Lets face it, he was the biggest draw in all of college football.
Yah that's Manziel.
Is Kentucky still in the SEC
Next year it will be Allen or Hill.
regarding ratings, Manziel is a once in a lifetime player that's getting attention on and off the field so you're probably wrong.
I'm sure he'll be back calling CF games after both his ACLs explode along with a spinal cord injury in his first NFL season.
Lol Aggy thinking another Manziel will come along just like that
Hey it happened for Texas and Vince Young. As soon as he left Another Vince Young just stepped in and we kept on winning national championships. Wait...
But then again, for Aggsy they are waiting for their next great QB to step in and take them to a 4 or 5 loss season, so maybe they are correct he is just around the corner.
You really already forgot about McCoy? Wow.
