Lol..bonner
Ill finish the sentence: getting owned.
West and Hibbert went 6/7 and George 6/9... It's depressing, they're getting whatever they want. On the other hand our 3 main bigs are shooting terribly and Pop is going with his son Bonbon...
First play of 2nd half is a 3 point play.
Bonner starting the 2nd half? Yup, Pop doesnt care....
TP falling asleep on D again... smh
Bonner.
Let's hope Thomas can surpass both him and Ayers.
It has nothing to do with coaching, it is a miracle a team this weak can stay on top for so long.
On paper, talent wise, Spurs is weaker than any of the top 3 teams. You need a tier 1 player to build a championship team around, LeBron/Durant/George. Spurs doesn't have that right now. Someone who can take over the game. They rely on IMO the best system in the NBA, which is great when everyone is playing well, but when the pressure is on the role players start to fade and it is about the stars. Only one team managed to win a le without a true elite player in the last 25 years I watched NBA, the 2004 Pistons and they had four top-20 players in their primes, someone of them #1 in what they do (Ben Wallace).
Last year vs Miami was only close because of Danny Green's historical performance from the 3-point line, way way way way overachieved.
Tony Parker is the only top 10 (not even top 5) player Spurs have, you guys are being too hard on Pop, he is already overachieving.
Pop just can't hide his Bonner love.![]()
come on Tony... show some pride
I already bet on Indiana at +145 before the game, might as well double down now that Splitter is out, tbh..
Struggling Diaw + Bonner + Ayres is scary..
C'mon Tony. That's mental midget George Hill out there.![]()
IDK what's up with Parker, but for the last couple of games his defense has been really bad
Tony's overhelping on D is killing the Spurs right now...
Hill dropping 8 straight on TP...
