Richard Jefferson, I was watching 2010 playoffs the other day, dude was a worm, of course were other guys but ie was the one I most remember because stole good money from the front office.
Ayres could play for beer in a park.

Ayres sucks and he has been one of the worst players in Spurs' history thus far, but he wouldn't even be close to the top 5 Spurs busts, tbh..

Thankfully he doesn't have a big role on this team. And the Spurs have enough depth to glue him to the bench.

This isn't 2008-2010 during the Udoka, Bogans, Mason, Mahinmi years.

Why the did the Spurs sign him - another cap-saving move or did they literally whiff on his potential.

Well at least they batted .500 with their other FA signee.

I have no idea what the front office was thinking with Ayres, wasn't like he was going to get minutes and given that he was a deep bench guy who didn't get a look with Indiana when they had a chance to cut ties it really doesn't make sense why we picked him up. He's not an interior presence and he doesn't stretch the floor by any means.

Man that question covers a lot of flops over the years. Start with draft picks Alfrederick Hughes and Dwayne Snitzius (sp) and then there was that guy from Oregon???

Butler was pretty bad, RJ is up at the top! Mason was not very good after the first year and flamed out in the playoffs. Ayres is on his way to the list but he was not a coveted FA and he is not making too much (Still makes more than he should though).

Dale Ellis had some decent years in SA, would not put him near top 5.
