Pop may not fully trust Baynes but after this game, I hope he realizes Baynes is a better option than Ayres.
Bonner could at least get people excited in the regular season.
Ayres looks like the worst player the Spurs have had in years
Bonner hit the three ball during the winter. He was useful in that aspect. Airs' contribution is to rob Holt of his money and put out a bad product.
Bonner, at least, was the plus-minus king. One-dimensional, but at least he was good at SOMETHING(spreading the floor with threes). Ayres can't score, rebound, defend, and doesn't seem to have any noticeabe bball IQ. His only notable attribute is his supposed athleticism but even that is questionable - he had a torn ACL in his rookie year. , he missed five dunks in one game this year and has trouble with simple layups. He's D-League quality. Ayres should consider himself lucky that there was a GM dumb enough to give him 2 million per year.

Did anyone see Manu and Boris look at each other before the chorus and start singing "You Shook Me All Night Long"? Was shown on the Raptors telecast coming out of a time out around 2:35ish in the 4th. Best moment.
Kwahi didn't wear that thing in the second half.
Ho-hum, doing what we do best so far this season: beating the losers of the league. It would be nice if we can beat a REAL team next time we face one.

Yeah, I've been watching as many games as I can so far but I'm still thinking ahead for the most part...maybe that's what they're doing, too? All I know is that beating Miami AT Miami would be awesome on January 26th, though and that would be a great confidence booster to take on the rest of the way. That's gotta be the most important regular season game in the Pop era, for whatever that's worth.
