I remember a long time ago, Athletico Madrid tried the same at home vs Barca; except that there was NO offside; and it was with the old rules, where an offside would be called regardless of who touched the ball.
It looked offside, but the replays clearly showed there was none
There were like 6 Barça players vs the goalkeeper
Athletico got butt ed at home 5-0 or 6-0 IIRC

Well there was quite a scrum in that area, maybe he didnt have a good view and that affected his judgement
