It might sound weird but to be honest, D, if you had a daughter would you have known when she had her first period? I think it was your wife's job to take care of your daughter during the appearance of her secondary sexual characteristics imho, like buying your daughter all those menstrual stuffs, teaching her how to wear a bra and how/when to use a sanitary pad or napkin.
