I never really thought we'd get Saban, but I had hoped Mack would be gone by now. Hopefully soon I guess, still a lot of solid candidates out there that could do wonders for the program. It is going to be tough to cheer for Texas against Oregon, which is pretty damn sad.

He's not staying. He'll be gone after the Alamo Bowl. Patterson or Mack could've already put this to bed by saying "Of course he'll (I'll) be here next year". Neither has done that. Mack is saying he's still needs to decide what's best. The writing is on the wall.
I just don't get how so many thought his departure would be that abrupt. The guy has been here 16 years and had some success. He wasn't leaving before his last bowl game here. And no one was going to force that on him. He's gone, but it wasn't going to happen that fast.
Eh...after all that's happened I won't believe he's gone until a new coaches name is announced.

Auburn Rivals mods are very good, imo. Even during the coaching search (before Malzahn was hired) they pretty much stayed out of it and certainly didn't speculate. Hoke in particular is very careful in what he reports, and Jay G. Tate mostly sticks to personal interest stories, game recaps, stuff like that. They are by far the best Auburn site, imho. You really don't get homer stuff from either of them (thank goodness) and they actually allow some dissent on the board (lot's of Rivals boards only allow Sunshine pumping, or you get banned)
The guy from 24/7 is much more like Ketch and Brown and was the source of a lot of bull during the replacement search for Cheez-it.
the mods on raiderpower are literally some of the worst. legit criticism of a player isn't allowed because "recruits and parents read this stuff! they won't wanna come here if they see fans badmouthing players

UTSA guy doesn't make assumptions like Ketchum, was moreso talking about the the fact that those "thoughts" articles are basically the equivalent of a weekly blog. He's cool but that ain't what I'm paying for.

TexAgs lets you get away with a little bit (sometimes), but there's a whole 'nother set of politics to deal with there, too
Pretty much anything goes on the SEC Rant, unless you're anti-LSU
