also seems team morale is worse, you can tell in the huddles that something has changed. not sure what exactly. it's like having a cancer biopsied or put in remission, and you feel better, but now it's back and metastasizing everything in its path. KbFan LkrFan, any idea what is going on with the team?

Lakers record with Kobe of the 13-14 season has now increased to 0-2 imho, and will soon be 0-3 after the OKC game

Hopefully Vino Gravano leads the Lakers to a statement win tomorrow @ OKC, tbh, it would help shut some of us up..

Kirbystan will try to spin it as "tanking" now, but we all know they were hoping for a 3-0 record so they could talk , tbh

Looking at the Lakers schedule, its obvious why Kobe chose the Toronto game to come back despite not being ready.

Kobe wanted a lot of attention surrounding his comeback (see ridiculous facebook video), so coming back during a road game was out of the question. The Lakers had a road-heavy schedule in December with home games against Toronto, Phoenix, Minnesota and then the Heat on Xmas. The Raptors were the weakest opponent an thus the obvious choice.

Signing that contract put a lot of pressure to come back. 48 million for a guy who hasnt played all season sure did look bad but it was obviously a huge mistake to rush back when he can barely even jump.

Sitting won't improve his injury, his lot. He has to play thru it. He didn't come back because of the 48. He came back because he wanted to--to prove the doubters wrong. To prove the haters wrong. To spite mine enemies. That's all he can do.

The contract enhances his legacy of being a selfish me-first player who doesn't really care about winning but says he does to sell himself as a warrior to get more cash in the bandwaggonest city in USA. IMHO.

& that's the fuel that powers an enabled sociopath like Kobe. Most sociopaths are powerless unless they take up the gun. He ran Daddy off, Daddy rings and moons Kobe. What does Kobe do? He goes into his room at home away from the Brillo head twins and wide load and plots his vengeance, maybe kicks the dog. Hunts Daddy down and keeps quiet thru the tie and the approaching zenith, then rings and springs the trap he'd set with a Media member to query him on cue...makes Daddy eat the whole sandwich, not on FaceBook, Youtube, Myspace, or, Twitter. Uh, uh. On live television.

Keeps quiet all those years about Duncan and the Spurs then when they win&lose their 5th he confesses to his abiding hatred. He's beautiful. So American.

His 5th delivered him. And he knew it.

You need to write a book on Kobe's life. It would be quite the epic read.
