only reason we got more heat for losing was cause it was the finals. we lost 1 finals. The lakers were supposed to win the next three and steamroll the rest of the league. They were suppose to be a new dynasty. That's an even worse failure than 1 single finals loss. I wasn't surprised espn tried not to make a big deal over the lakers being swept. Just trying to protect their darlings. Covering them every single day at every single hour and then magically stop talking about them when they failed at their supposed dynasty is bullcrap.

Had we lost in the WCF no one would have cared. Since we swept 1st and 3rd, and took 4th to 7, suddenly we're a disappointment. It reminds me of someone who gets a speeding ticket and claims they should have gone down a different road. That might've been the Spurs undoing. They thought they already won it before they actually did. Parker losing sight of Allen is evidence of this. He stopped when James's shot found iron.
