I heard he is big time into the anime/manga stuff similar to narutoluva and wants to do more of these type of movies...just do bill and ted 3 already and get it over with I say.
some actors just seem to maintain their looks damn well imho, like John Depp and Keanu. Guys look 10yrs younger than Cruise and Downey when they're all bout the same age. No offense bro, but it does seem to me that most New Yorkers age faster than people from the rest of the country tbh (our goddess included)
I'm also kind of a "New Yorker" tbh. My hometown is also a gigantic city with 5+ million population, and located at the same al ude as NY. I once joked with a friend (Fernando, to be exact, Fernando is also a native here so he's my homeboy) that we were kind of from the same town as Scarlett, because if you take the universe (or ether) as the reference system, the same location where we are WILL be NY in just 12 hours, regardless of earth's orbiting around the sun. Like, we exchange locations with NY every 12 hours:

In a city this big you cant miss a beat, you miss a beat, you're behind the 8 ball and being behind here is not a good thing. 's always gotta be on the double around these parts.
I think this is the only place where you'd get fired for standing around for more than 10 seconds. That wears on you over time.
He already knows kung fu. Perfect for the role.

I'll give it a shot simply bc there is a lack of action movies coming out this season
this is ed up. was watching some movie and this was one of the previews. it was like halfway through before they showed him as the main star.
can't be worse than Man of Steel
looks better than that utter chinese movie he did what was it? taichi, lacked everything
so there aren't any good asian actors who can play these lead samurai roles?

This is what worries me about the movie. Is it so ty where you have to get down to Keanu Reeves to play the main role?
I'd say he is... at least more than some asian actor that'd be unknown to the general moviegoer.
I don't think anything about this movie should be worrisome because expectations should be low. The movie won't be good, and Keanu's casting won't be the reason why.
at this point, it'd be more compelling to cast Ken Jeong as the lead.

i don't hate the guy. it just makes no sense to have a white samurai to me(no racist)
no hate here. he was perfectly cast in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Then, he stretched his chops to play Johnny Utah in Point Break and it worked out.
but everything else he did was . he's a terrible actor. even the bus movie. mother er can't say one believable line.
Understandable with the white samurai thing.
I see this movie and I think it's a ploy to make quick money. It releases on Christmas Day. There's no golden globe to be won, so might as well cast a familiar name. That's all I see here. The movie will be forgotten quickly.
well I'm not going to defend his acting at all, but I thought he worked with the Matrix. A Scanner Darkly was solid.
