Baynes has been having monster games in little playing time... Bonner has a positive +/- when he plays and spreads the floor... Yet OVERRATED Pop keeps playing Ayreball big minutes...
This ing bum cant catch passes, blows dunks and layups, makes Griffin look like Hakeem, cant box out Jamal Crawford on a free throw, scores 2 points when he gets the start, Shaq laughs at his jump shot.

You're an idiot. This one is on boylen, but you don't know that obviously cause you're an idiot.
Manu had a great game today too...
I can tell you what he sees on his fingers

he can thank tim duncan for that
Duncan can also thank Pop for that...
prime duncan still would of won at least 1 or 2 without pop
"Popsuckers" its like you're trying to sound like a moron.
Who would you suggest we replace him with? I'll wait...

"Jeff is a great positional defender"
Pretty sure the only reason Ayres is seeing playing time is because Pop is doing Jim Boylen a favor.
Are you re ed? After the OKC series, Game 6, and 7, and this season (19-5 with a cake schedule)... even Boylen sounds better.
Personally, I think this isn't going to fly post All Star game... I think Pop is giving him the minutes now, but if he doesn't turn it around, he'll lose them
But yeah real talk can we get a montage of Ayres' missed dunks this season. Pretty sure he's had like 10 or 11 point blank uncontested missed dunks already![]()
Spurs fans defending Ayres should be ashamed, tbh
I normally don't agree with ElNono but he's right. I think Ayres is on thin ice with Pop and he won't get any meaningful playing time if he keeps playing like horse .
Like the other poster said, this is Boylen's fault more than Pop. I don't think Pop even knew Jeff Pendergraph existed until Boylen recommended him to the FO. Losing our best player development coach in Brett Brown hurts too. Ayres keeps getting worse and worse as the season progresses. He might have shown improvement with last year's coaching staff.
As I said, Pop will eventually sit his ass if he doesn't turn it around. Boylen should understand, tbh.
Is it worth it? If the spurs lose games that can win just because Pop wants to experiment and then is going to be tough to rest starters at the end of the season trying to get home court
I don't think Pop is intentionally trying to toss games. But if he doesn't get more leeway to experiment in November/December, when is he gonna do it?
Pop needs to know which games he can experiment with, like the next one against the Suns
I think Pop understands it's a marathon, not a bunch of races...
