I vote for Cojo.
I'm leaning towards Cojo so Patty can play with Manu-Belli....
Jeff Ayres
Kabongo with a call up?
I can see Pop experimenting with the Point Forward playing Ayres, he needs more minutes.
How can someone his size miss 4 dunks in 1 game? 3 of them were basically uncontested also. What a disgrace. The highest % shot in the sport and he can't make one. en pathetic.
Do not know who will start, but I do know you can count on Green to chip in 3 points.
I can see Cojo starting.. don't think this next few games on the road bode well for the Spurs.
Prob CoJo so Patty stays with the second unit.
CoJo. He's the more limited player offensively and will need to be propped up by the likes of Duncan and Kawhi. He's also a solid defender and low-mistake player...though he's admittedly been pressing since losing the backup role. This should be a good boost for him.
As for Patty, he fits perfectly in the bench energy role and has really thrived this season in it. Probably best to not mess with a good thing.
Cojo will start...but I wish De Colo would instead.
I think NDC is a sad basketball player, but I'm tired of seeing CJ's timidness. Dude looks satisfied with just being a fringe system player. I hope De Colo gets a chance again.
Play Nando........................
Claxton was huge in our 03 run. He would've been handy against the Lakers in 04.
I'd rather Nando start than Joseph.
Lord have mercy!
As a member of the Play"Insert bench player here" family, I approve this. Nando >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Cojo. Play Nando...........................................
Cojo
25 minutes
4 points 4 rebounds 5 assists 3 turnovers -5 1-6 FG, 2-2 FT
Sounds about right.
I get the prospect of Mills covering Curry is pretty bad but at least he can score himself. Joseph is so damn passive.
I hope DeColo. Joseph just has not looked good & DeColo did a pretty solid job last year when TP went out. The offense will likely be more fluid out there (with Nando) and with TP out, we'll need someone who can take/make shots and create for others. This would also be a good time for Kawhi to take over some of the ball handling duties. Especially if Joseph gets the start, I hope Kawhi has the ball in his hands the majority of the time.
Without Tony we've the perfect excuse to lose next games. So nobody's gonna be mad when Jeff and Matty can't handle PG duties.![]()
Pssh yeah right... Spurs don't even play Thomas.
