"Tony Romo seems to throw interceptions at the worst times. In the last three seasons, he has 16 TDs and 0 INTs (131.5 passer rating) in the first 10 minutes of the fourth quarter of games within 7 points. In the final five minutes of games when the score is within 7 points, Romo has two TDs and eight INTs, with a passer rating of 59.7."

ting on them Cowboy fans
No button to fumble the hold?
left out most alltime 4th qtr gamewinnin drives in da last 3 yrs tbh![]()
i truly cannot fathom how Cowboys fans, people who have (presumably) watched almost all Cowboys games in recent years can still be defending Romo's play in crunchtime. It's a serious case of mass delusion that requires some sort of study/do entary
The vast majority of his career game-winning drives have been before December, tbh....
He's one of the first of his kind in NFL history, tbh...which is why he's so polarizing. We've never seen a player put up such elite regular season #'s, only to come up short EVERY TIME and lose in such inexplicable ways. Somebody on the NFL Forum made a joke about it, but the "December Romo: A Football Life", or his Top 10 Meltdowns will be epic TV. Not even Shakespeare could craft such a tragic character as this imo--Would've loved to have heard this line spoken by John Fascenda tbh for TR's NFL Film Session
John Fascenda is probably chomping at the afterlife bit to have the chance to do the NFL Films version of Romo's life...
3 in december fyi n sh*ty deflect from da bigger pic tbh![]()
he had 2 game icing 4th quarter picks this year alone against Denver and Green Bay...
so 2 game icing romoceptions this season alone vs 3 game winning drives his entire career... such a great clutch qb in those weeks leading to the playoffs tbh
yet raiderfan still puts dem 2 losses on romo tbh...![]()
Another thing that makes the Romo Era so memorable--and something we should all appreciate while it's still here--is the nature of these never-ending meltdowns. If you hate a certain team, you want them to be compe ive and have their hearts ripped out every year. It's no fun if you hate the Bills or Jaguars, cause every year they're out of the picture by Week 5. The Boys always keep us (and their fans) in suspense till Week 17, giving their fans a guaranteed 4-months of sustained agony and unfulfilled promises every year. I treasure these NFL memories
i didn't pin the entire loss on romo. he choked in both and iced the games, nonetheless. comparatively speaking, danny green totally the bed in game 6 of the finals, but he's not the one who necessarily choked down the stretch. romo always seems to up when it matters in these games.
against green bay, they had a lead, and just had to run the clock out. the coach called a run, romo audibled to pass and got picked. green bay scored and took the lead. on the last drive, romo threw yet another pick.
against denver, romo played the game of his life. cowboys defense was getting lit up by Manning on the other side. the cowboys have the ball with 2 minutes left in a TIE game. the cowboys are on their own 14... and romo throws a pick. denver didn't even have to move the ball for the GW field goal. romo handed it to them
people seem to mistakenly think that i blame the entirety of the losses on romo. its not the case. their defense has been subpar, and their coaching is often questionable. but when the game is truly on the line, Romo seems to find ways to up in big games
again anotha tro missn da bigger pic... Romo had both dem games won tbh
^is this dude real?![]()
^ says da raidersfan![]()
if that's what you resort to, i already know i've won the argument.
my fanhood has nothing to do with it. i'm a raiders fan, but unlike you, i'm not delusional when it comes to my team. i can acknowledge that my team is pathetic and does not have anything near contender status. i recognize that our qb situation is . on the other hand, you are a cowboys fan who is defending romo's clutch play when he has the bed at the end of the game TWICE this year, leading to 2 losses, and you now find yourself 1 game out of the playoffs. its a career trend.
you say Romo had those games won? then what happened? Romo gave the games back
if u say so "raiderfan"... How waz your turkey? Turkey?

k. i never said the raiders were better than the cowboys. congrats on that win tbh.
delusional Cowboys fans who still expect Tony Romo to all of a sudden turn it around and become a winner. Romo is a career loser, that is reality. You can take all of the statistics and spin them however you want. The reality is that anyone who has watched the Cowboys over the past 8 years knows that in the most critical games, Tony Romo will fail. It all started when he couldn't even cleanly catch the snap on an extra point in a playoff game and it's been downhill since then.

Tony Romo has a career record of 13-21 in December, including 0-2 this season. His critical interceptions against GB cost his team the game.

Can we get your thoughts on this? We haven't heard from you lately.
Thanks in advance,
A concerned citizen.

has anyone had an easier end of schedule in NFL history?
He will have ended the season facing 5 straight backup quarterbacks from when the season started (McGloin, McCown, Flynn, cousins, Foles)
