Stupid ideal IMO tbh
If you haven't heard, the Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets will be wearing jerseys with their nicknames on the back sometimes this year.
For example, Ray Allen will wear a Judas Shuttlesworth jersey with "J. Shuttlesworth" on the back. Word to e Lee.
The question here is:
Do you want nickname jerseys for the Spurs?
If so, what nicknames?
No Timmy, we're not calling you Merlin.
Stupid ideal IMO tbh
To be fair, you see it all the time in the Soccer world. All Brazilian players (Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, etc..) have nicknames on their jerseys. Chicharito for Mexico has his nickname on his jersey too. So I don't really mind it that much.
No one on the Spurs really has a nickname.
Though, an 'Errors' jersey would be a good laugh.
Kawhi - The Hand
parker needs to put hero on his jersey, tbh
So, I guess..
Duncan = The Big Fundamental
Ginobili = Manu
Parker = Adulterer
etc.
No, that's not what this team and organization is about.
If they had to do anything, they should just have the numbers without the names
Nickname jerseys is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen in the NBA. And with David Stern at the helm, that's no small feat.
David Stern once again marketing the best players, and not the best teams.
Only if they name the Spurs players after snakes.............scary snakes. The Anaconda, the Copperhead, and the famous WATER MOCCASIN!!!
Marco better be Mama Mia or something Italian tbh
