romo would thrive as a game manager. we finally have a solid offensive line and a beast running back. asking romo to throw for more than 20-25 times a game is asking for trouble. we should be feeding demarco until he can't take anymore, no . too bad our management and coaching staff is piss poor to realize this.

The Ravens won their first championship with Dilfer as their bus driver..but their defense was the best in the League. This isn't gonna work in Dallas.

Improved offensive line, yes. Solid? Not so sure about that. After Travis Frederick and Tyron Smith it's all question marks. Brian Waters helped, but he is not the answer at RG being 37 years old next season. Doug Free, Jermey Parnell, and Ron Leary are all expendable. The Cowboys need to invest in top talent, whether it be in the draft or FA.

I agree, DeMarco Murray is above average. The only concern of course is health, and like you said the scheme the coaches run. As for Romo, it's actually worse than you think. He is averaging 35.6 throws per game over his last 10, with ridiculous pass attempt numbers in the NYG, GB, PHI, and MIN games with 38, 48, 47, and 51 pass attempts respectively. Lopsided playcalling like that is begging for trouble.

Speaking of self awareness, the person truly unaware is Jerry. Over the last 16 years of being .500, he is the only mainstay. He used Parcells to improve the team short term, and get the fanbase and media off his back just long enough to allow him to go back to his comfort zone of gotry. If that POS doesn't hire a REAL GM, the Cowboys will never improve because this dumb in his senile mind truly believes the Cowboys are just a draft pick away from a Championship.

no, are you crazy? It goes down as one of the best moves in Cowboy's history.

It's not quite Roy Williams or Joey Galloway trade status, but it's up there.

You know, you're right. Because Jerry has been the blueprint for success, the Cowboys should expand his roles to Head Coach, receivers coach, defensive/offensive line coaches, running backs coach, tight ends coach, executive talent scout, defensive and offensive coordinators for starters.

Are you old enough to remember this ?

Jimmy Johnson won all three for Dallas. He built those championship teams.Barry Switzer came in and took over a team that could have won with me as their coach. It seems you truly don't get how a football team is run.
