I hate the new patch. They killed the in game economy.

I'm not sure why I even specified single-player, I haven't played a multiplayer game since COD: Black Ops.
What did the patch do? I'm playing it on the PS3 if that makes a difference. It's hard to imagine how the loot system could be much worse. A lot of the heists are intuitive enough that you can start seeing pretty quickly how you could stealth your way in and at least buy some time rather than having to go in guns blazing. Good luck getting a suppressor for any weapon you already have. I've got one of the finest collections of rifle stocks and random mask materials this side of the Mississippi but all if I want to shoot someone quietly in an alley.
The new patch lowered the amount of money and XP earned per contract. I have not been able to verify the cost of guns, attachements, etc has been scaled back to match the decrease in earned money, I just can't come to terms with earning 30K on a very hard pro job after the original setup.
As far as the attachments thing - I'm with you here. I'm ing level 38 and still have not unlocked a single sight or scope for my weapons. I do have a great assortment of muzzles, barrels, and stocks though.
So, I'm pretty much done with KHFM (just need to beat it, and beat the five optional bosses, finish the Dalmatians, etc) so I started up the HD version of Re:CoM. Cards. Everywhere. I missed this so much.
Finished The Last of Us. Excellent game, I might like it than all of the Uncharted games. Storyline is stellar, imo.
Bump bump bump bump bump, bump bump bump bump
Infamous 2. Not quite as good as the original but a lot more fun on the evil playthrough. Killing street performers never gets old.
Still playing Arma 3. The editor keeps the game from ever getting old. Deepest in game editor I've ever seen.
just bought the g27 steering wheel from logitech
got plenty of ex owned racing sim games for a bargain, dont have the latest forza and gt6 yet...
I'm playing Dragon's Dogma on the PS3... free because of PS +. I'm like 10 hrs in and I really like it. Something different and very welcomed. This seems like one of those 50+ hrs, do-every-quest type of game.
finally quit gaming after 20 years tbh. it just doesn't have that draw it used to. picking up my strat again. i feel like an ass for having it in storage...
quit smoking too. life is boring now. guess i'll just have to prey on women with low self esteem as a hobby now.

Crysis 3 on 360..jk, PC.
me, best graphics I've ever seen. The suit is ridiculously OP as well, good times throwing people off ledges.
Gran Turismo 6
Anyone have any suggestions of games to play during the Christmas break? I've been out of the loop for about a year (only playing GTA V and The Last of Us)
Games I'm starting on now:
Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
Silent Hunter III
Replaying XCom
Starbound
I also fired up Dirt 3 with my Logitech Driving Force GT and it's a blast.
Not sure if you've played any of the following but I enjoyed these:
Max Payne 3
Lego Marvel Super Heroes (don't judge me)
Diablo III
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Tomb Raider 2013
Borderlands 2
Hitman Absolution
Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
A little over half way through.. So good.jpg
I picked up Borderlands 2 as the PS+ freebie, been occupied with that since. Running a (currently) lvl 22 Zer0 with a corrosive sniper rifle, Law (pistol), a Tediore shotgun, and a high-damage pistol.
Im on Borderlands 2 as well, message me if you want to play or need help. My psn is suspect0479
as what im currently playing though it's Killer is Dead and Metro Last Light
Recently finished Last of Us on survival mode. Seriously challenging(no listen mode and scraps for ammo). Outstanding game.
Getting into the online mode for it now. Pretty cool actually. Requires teamwork.
Picked up a cheap copy of LA Noire. Playing thru it slowly...its decent but pretty repe ive.
Other than that i can always be found lookin fer in GTA 5 online.
LA Noire is one of those that's at the top of my "To Replay" list once I get through the stack of games that I haven't gotten to yet. I really liked it but it's just not one of those games that lends itself to binge playing. Now that I'm limited to maybe an hour or two of gaming a day if I'm lucky it's something that I think would be a perfect fit.
I would say that I'm playing Uncharted 3 except that the er quit on me about 20 minutes ago after about 3 hours of gameplay. On to Borderlands 2 I guess.
