Spurs should win this one. They lost by 6 in OKC. Defense wasn't the issue, they just couldn't score. And as they always say, role players play better @ home.

This should be a great test for Spurs. Spurs 102. Thunder 96.

I'll be curious to see how the Spurs do with Reggie Jackson this time around. He blew the game open for the Thunder last time we faced them.

Ibaka always turns into Larry Bird against us *face palm*

exchanging shots is not a good idea against them, somehow they always find someone having a career game when we try to play the d'antoni way.

Our defense has been terrible in the 1st half of games, hopefully we keep them under 60. Tbh.

Start Marco and keep Green on Jackson when he comes off the bench.

who told kens 5 they could still do spurs games? they always it up. I can't even find the game on the grid to dvr b/c kens5 hasn't listed it yet. all i get is nbatv package channel and FSNOKC when i search for this game, neither of which I have.

gotta keep searching for spurs till kens5 lists it, so i can add it to my queue

If SA wins tonight they will be tied with Portland for the best record in the NBA
Portland does hold the tie breaker but its still pretty impressive considering how many cliff jumpers weve had so far and just how terrible the starting lineup has been for the whole season with guys like Green disappearing completely

Not just Green but Parker/Duncan too. TD's gotten much better the past few weeks but Parker's playing at a level worse than 2012 or 2013. He's not even a top five point guard at the moment. Due to the FIBA nonsense this summer, it's looking like Parker needs a few weeks rest or he'll burn out before the playoffs.

I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed more here, tbh..

Tim has bounced back and has been playing at an elite big level since his horrible start, and Manu has been arguably the best player on the team this season..

Parker has been very underwhelming and looks fatigued..the rest should help him, hopefully..he needs to be at a top 15 level for the Spurs to go far, obviously..

    Is Parker playing tonight, btw?..

Manu has definitely been tremendous so far. The bench has carried this team. Lots of people are throwing Green under the bus and blaming him for the failure of the starting unit but Parker's the guy that's supposed to be running the offense and he hasn't been doing a very good job of it this year. Points, efficency, assist percentage, Orting are all down from the last two years. The Spurs coaching staff are more than likely aware of this so Pop will probably find some time to rest him these next two months.

As long as their scrubs don't go off on us ( like usual ) we should win, don't double Durant or Westbrook and guard those other damn scrubs tight. Tired of Ibaka looking like OlajuwonO'nealRussel against us, cuz he's really not.

i don't fear durant or the thunder, i fear the refs. the nba is so determined to make him the next superstar, u can't even guard this dude. when you're playing a guy close and u get 2 or 3 quick fouls on him, u have no choice but to play off of him and let him drain jumpers all night. when the thunder played the wolves early in the season and they weren't calling for durant every time he drove and he would hit the floor, he looked average. once u stop giving a guy the superstar treatment and stop calling foul every time he drives to the basket and make him earn his points, a lot of these guys don't look at as good as they are hyped to be. i just read john stockton's autobiography. he said when he would receive s ches or knocked to the ground for driving in the lane. one time, an official told him, "you shouldn't go down there.." . it's funny that people say the spurs are a boring team, but when their favorite player is shooting 15-20 freethrows a night on some bull , that's supposedly interesting.

as for ibaka, duncan should never guard him cuz all he does is bring him out the paint and shoot jumpers. put diaw on him and move duncan to the center for the game and have him and splitter share duties there.

    Parker is just coasting tbh..
hes not aggressive looking for his shot at all til the 4th quarter
and you cant say he hasn't stepped up in the 4th quarters this season
hes had plenty of 12+ point 4th quarters where hes scoring like 15 of the last 16 points

the only change ive noticed in Parker so far is that he isn't getting as much separation coming off pick and rolls and a lot of times when hes going into his mid range shot he has to pass it up back to Duncan because he knows the guy is right behind him ready to block his shots
If Duncan is hitting his mid ranges again though it should start creating more separation since people have to respect Duncan
