Pretty bad to lose this game after that momentum we had the last two games.
What went wrong? Missed the game.
Yeah, why is the fuss? last year we loss the finals against a more athletic team, now we cant even win stupid regular games and dudes like Green and Kiwi are playing like , even Porker is a piece of hero baller, the team looks tired and done, why is the fuss?
play all around (sans Belinelli in the 1st half) but mostly Thunderefs
Got outrebounded by 11, where the was Jeff Ayres!??!

Trade Parker for Jrue Holliday, and Manu for Ellis tbh, per par.
Asik? He is a lot like Splitter tbh. But he is a better rebounder. IMO he is probably an upgrade.
Trade him for JaVaLe McGee!
I would in a heartbeat, or DFavors or Tyson Chandler, a rim protecting shot blocking big
I'm not making any judgements until we play this team again at full strength. Kawhi is consistently our best player against the Thunder.
Spurs got it to within 3 and had all the momentum. Then Splitter bricked 2 freebies and it all went to .
Tyson Chandler would fit in so well on this team. I'd totally do it straight up.
Our interior defense is fine. We just need Kawhi healthy.
Rebounding is still an issue and so is our perimeter d.
Agree that our perimeter D is a big issue with Kawhi out. Parker/Manu/Marco are subpar defenders.
Our rebounding is still sub par. We need a better big to go with Duncan. No ifs ands or buts.
No.
Splitter is better offensively and is a great team defender. He also doesn't complain about constantly being shifted in and out of the starting lineup game to game or even half to half. This is a classic reaction following a loss. Its insane.
Absolutely.
We have actually played them rather closely since losing to them in the WCF. We won 2 games last season. Nearly rallied with De Colo playing the majority of the 4th quarter at OKC. Two of our most lopsided losses against them in the past 6 meetings, Kawhi had DNPs. Kawhi has been a 2 way threat against them and does a solid job of defending Durant without fouling.
yeah because Splitter grabbing 11 rebounds was bad. Kawhi averages nearly a double-double against the Thunder. He plays and the rebounding battle is close and the Spurs more than likely win this game.
More specifically the offensive glass.
We are 3rd in the league in Defensive rebounding percentage but 27th in offensive rebounding percentage.
Splitter has been by far our best offensive rebounder. Oddly enough, Splitter grabs more offensive boards per game than any other player on the Spurs including Duncan. While playing just 20mpg. The best way to improve is to play Splitter more.
Diaw is a great offensive player and a good defender but he is pretty bad on the glass. He averages roughly the same as Mills and Ginobili on the Offensive glass.
Westbrook is playing way smarter which is scary as ...
