Not sure whether to laugh or be annoyed at the fact that Reggie Jackson has looked like ing MJ in the two games he's played against us, yet manages to go 1-11 with 3 TOs the following game against Toronto.

    Well, at least OKC lost

edit: oh, and one more thing...OKC went 35-36 from the FT line.

This is why you dont put much stock on RS games. All of a sudden when the Spurs lose to the Thunder, Spurfans want to trade everyone and panic.

I wonder what their thoughts of them losing to a pathetic Toronto teams have them saying now. Do they feel better about the Spurs? Do they now think Thunder are beatable? Chime in panic Spurfan. Would like to hear.

Ayres and a 1st-round pick for Amir...sounds fair, right?

But seriously, Amir has really broken out since Rudy got traded. Amazing what getting rid of an inefficient, ball-hogging chucker can do for the players around him.

considering Amir broke out last year when Gay was there, your comment is pretty stupid.

Nick Collison and Derek Fisher too... scrubs that always show up against us... I hate it when scrubs channel their inner Jordan against us.

fisher in 2012 playoffs... oh my god, how many (timely) threes and buckets did he hit against us when we went on our runs?

Amir Johnson would be great against teams like OKC and Golden State tbh. However, Spurs desperately need a bench defender that can be put on Jackson when/if he goes off on the Spurs.

The problem is when they play against us, who cares if they fall against Charlotte or Sacramento, in 7 games they could beat us, there is a thing going in the NBA where every team pokes fun at the Spurs like that asshole Batum with that stupid shot, and every team plays against us like a ing finals game.

That's what happens when you've built the reputation as the team to beat. That's due in large part to Tony's prowess.

Fisher is one of those guys who'd make the league a better place if he tore an ACL and retired.

    A confirmed s bag.

Dude is averaging 18 and 11 in the 7 games since Gay left and is playing more minutes than ever. And that's playing against teams like OKC, Chicago, Charlotte, and us...all elite defenses. He didn't really break out last year...he was productive in the minutes he got, and people started thinking he COULD break out if given the opportunity.

Rudy was holding him back. Him and DeRozan are both top 10 in the league in FGA per game. Now that Gay is gone, some of those 18 FGA can go elsewhere (like to Amir). I'm not saying Gay leaving is the sole reason he's breaking out, but it's really not hard to see it's having a positive effect on Amir. Did you watch Toronto with Gay? They had no ball movement whatsoever. Now their offense actually resembles an...offense.

Lol, enough with Porky man, every team squeeze our balls and we make horrible passes no rebounds and awful shots and dudes like Green and Kawhi are dead, they have no respect at all but when they play fake assed Miami everybody uses more selected shots and strategies.

I think this can be attributed to z getting hyped up to play the Spurs. Hence you often see no-name scrubs hitting career highs when they play SAS.
Can be viewed as a compliment

Probably helps that Toronto doesn't send 2 guys to anyone who has the ball and give up wide open 3s

i have to disagre. Amir was so fed up with gay that he asked to come off the bench (more touches). Coincidentally, the day gay gets traded, he drops a career high 32 against the lakers.
